Hi there,
One view, every connection
Open any customer and you'll find a new Sales Reps tab. It lists every rep tied to the customer, the Programs each rep covers, and a tag on every Program explaining the link: a Territory Mapping, a Customer Ownership, or a Commission Override. Two summary cards up top count the reps assigned and the Programs they span, so you can size up an account at a glance. When you need to change something, you'll still do it in Commission Settings or your territory maps; this view brings it all together to read.
Organizations gain custom fields and attachments
Organizations now support custom fields (configure them under Velocity Settings > Organizations, then fill them in on the Organization Profile) and a new Attachments section for saving files and links, the same way customers and orders already work.
Zapier v1.15.0
The Zapier app now supports organization custom fields and organization attachments.

Hi there,
Organizations in Velocity can now hold their own payment methods, completing the centralized billing story we started with organization balances.
Payment methods at the organization level
The organization detail page has a new Payment Methods section for saving cards and bank accounts. A Customers can use this organization's payment methods checkbox controls whether member customers can pay with them. It's on by default, and you can turn it off any time to keep the organization's methods restricted to org-level payments.
Use them everywhere
Members of the organization see the organization's payment methods alongside their own at checkout, in Velocity and on the storefront. Manual payments can charge an organization method directly to add funds to the org's balance. And the organization's Pay for Terms Orders flow now supports charging a credit card, saved or new, alongside balance and offline payments. Refunds, payment lists, and reports all support organization payments end to end.
Zapier v1.14.0
New actions for attachments (Find, Create) and invoicing settings (Find, Set, and Disable, for both customers and organizations), plus a debit_source field on the Order Transaction resource.

Hi there,
A few new additions this week to make day-to-day work in Velocity a little smoother.
Link attachments
Attachments now support URLs in addition to files. The New Attachment modal has separate File and Link tabs, available on both customer profiles and order details. Each attachment also accepts an optional Description, useful for noting what something is or where it came from.
Sales Reps report
A new Sales Reps report is available under Reports, with Name, Email, Identifier, Sales Teams, and Custom Fields available as columns. Handy for exporting your rep roster or auditing assignments across Sales Teams.
Customer counts on Organizations
The Organizations list now shows the number of member customers next to each organization's name, for a quicker read on which orgs are largest.

Hi there,
We've shipped a major upgrade to how organizations handle money in Velocity. Organizations now act as a billing layer, not just an invoicing one.
Organizations carry their own balance
The org Invoicing page now shows three cards: Organization Balance, Customer Balance, and Amount Invoiced. Record offline payments and balance reductions directly on the organization, and the funds land on the Organization Balance until you spend them.
Pay terms orders from the organization
The Payments menu on the org Invoicing page now includes Pay for Terms Orders, which lets you settle outstanding terms orders across every member customer in a single submission. When paying a terms order one at a time, the Payment action now offers a choice between the customer's balance and the organization's balance.
Refreshed invoicing ledger
The transactions table picked up Is Organization and Is Capital columns, so cross-account entries and capital terms are clearly distinguishable. Capital balance is no longer a separate card; it's flagged inline in the ledger.
No changes to existing API or Zapier payloads, so any automations you've built continue to work without modification.

Hi there,
We've shipped a major update to how Sales Teams and Programs work in Velocity.
Renamed: Sales Teams and Programs
Territory Alignments are now Sales Teams, and Categories are now Programs. The rename is reflected throughout the app, from the navigation to page titles to in-app copy. Your existing data, API payloads, and Zapier integrations continue to work unchanged.
Redesigned Sales Team pages
The Sales Teams list page has been redesigned to match the rest of the app, with a clearer header and New Sales Team button. The detail page now has a left sidebar separating Hierarchy from Territories, so it's easier to see your team structure at a glance and jump straight to managing territory assignments.
Smaller wins
The Order notes field at checkout has been renamed to Customer notes for consistency, and the dedicated terms refunds flow has been folded into the standard refund flow.

Hi there,
We’ve released a few improvements to make customer setup and commission management smoother in Velocity.
New Customer Onboarding page
Customer onboarding now has its own dedicated page, making it easier for reps to create multiple customers in a row. The new Create more button lets reps submit one customer and immediately start the next.
Updated Commission Settings
Commission Overrides and Customer Ownerships now live together on the Commission Settings page, so you can manage both in one place without switching between pages.
Zapier support for Ownerships and Overrides
Zaps can now automatically create Customer Ownerships and Customer Overrides, helping keep Velocity aligned with changes in your CRM.
