🚀 Order Booster

We have released a powerful new tool designed to help increase conversions and lift your average order value: Order Booster. With this feature, customers will see a real-time prompt during online checkout showing how close they are to qualifying for free shipping. The system automatically calculates and displays whichever target they’re nearest to:

Number of bottles still needed, or
Dollar amount left to reach the minimum

📦💲 'Flat-Fee + Customer Choice' Wine Club Option

We’re excited to launch a modern, flexible wine club option that meets the needs of today’s customers—especially millennials and those looking to spend more thoughtfully. With our new Flat Fee Customer Choice Wine Club, members get to choose exactly what they want, while you control the framework.

How it works:

  • Set a monthly recurring price for the club membership.
  • Choose which bottles members can select from in each release.
  • Define a maximum bottle limit per release to guide order size.

When creating a club release, simply select the wines you'd like to offer and specify the maximum number of bottles members can choose. Members will then enjoy the freedom to customize their shipment, while you maintain predictable revenue and inventory control.

  • Appeals to budget-conscious and choice-driven customers
  • Encourages higher engagement and loyalty
  • Supports recurring monthly revenue.

🚛 UPS Access Points – Secure, Convenient Order Pickups

Give your customers more flexibility by allowing them to ship their wine orders to a nearby UPS Access Point—such as grocery stores, postal centers, or neighborhood shops—for convenient pickup at their own schedule.

  • eCommerce Orders: Customers can select a UPS Access Point at checkout.
  • Point of Sale Orders: Choose a UPS Access Point destination when setting the order to be Shipped.
  • Wine Club Orders: Members can opt-in for UPS Access Point pickup during signup.

It’s the perfect solution for members and buyers who prefer secure, flexible pick-up options over home delivery.

Why It Matters:

  • Fewer Returns: Reduce the risk of missed deliveries, return shipping fees, restocking, and frustrated customers.
  • More Convenience: Customers can choose a nearby pick-up location that fits their schedule.

❌ Click to Cancel - New Law in California

Click to Cancel - It is not new for VinesOS as a Feature but it is a new law. Effective July 1, 2025, California’s new automatic renewal law (AB 2863) requires:

  • Easy “click to cancel”
  • Explicit opt-in for renewals
  • Annual reminders
  • Advance notice of changes


📦 Shipping Updates

Shipping Fee Price Override

You can now quickly override shipping fees in the POS. Just open Modify Order and enter the shipping rate you’d like to charge.

Create Multiple labels for a large order

If you have set up the newer FedEx or UPS integration, you can now create two or more shipping labels for a single order.

To do this:

  1. Open the Order in the Dashboard.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select the shippers you want to use.

UPS Carbon Neutral Shipping option

There is a new option to offer Carbon Neutral shipping on UPS. This is great both for the environment and for your Brand goodwill. This requires the UPS integration update.

Enhanced UPS Email Notifications

This option gives UPS the added ability to send your customers email notifications directly, providing enhanced shipping updates such as Shipment Confirmation, In-Transit Notifications, and Delivery Confirmation and more. This requires the UPS integration update.


📨 Tracking Email Engagement

Get the full picture of your member engagement.

View a complete record of emails sent to each member, including opens and link clicks, right from their profile. NOTE: This will only show for the last 90 days of emails sent, but will start adding from this point forward.

POS View

Quickly jump from a dashboard order to POS checkout with the new POS View button. From the dashboard, just click POS View to open the order, making it easy to close out or mark as picked up.

Price Override

Click and hold on the price to set a special discount for an item. This can be enabled per staff account.

Happy Hour Discounts by Location

Happy Hour just got an upgrade! You can now set Happy Hour discounts by location - making it easy to offer unique specials at each of your Tasting Rooms.

Automated Gratuity/Service Charge

Make checkout smoother and more consistent with our new Automated Gratuity option.

Easily set a default gratuity percentage in your POS settings, and it will automatically apply it to all POS orders - excluding To-Go and Club orders. No extra steps needed! It will print on receipts, and allow customers to add extra gratuity if they wish. Need to override the gratuity charge? Simply navigate to your 'Modify' section and toggle 'No Auto Gratuity' on.

POS-Only Display on POS

Simply see which of your wines on the POS are Tasting Room exclusive wines. When you set your wine to be 'POS ONLY,' a POS flag will appear over the item on the POS screen.

Hide Zero Inventory Items

Keep your POS menu clean and accurate with items automatically hidden once inventory hits zero. Prefer more control? Adjust which product types are removed in POS settings.

Restrict Coupons to POS or Ecommerce

Customize where your coupons can be applied. Choose to make them valid exclusively at the POS or only through your eCommerce checkout, giving you more control over promotions and how they're redeemed.Restrict Coupons for POS or eCommerce

Update the Date & Status a Club Order was Picked Up

Easily adjust the pickup date or status on club orders to ensure your records always match when the wine actually leaves your winery.

Filter for all members with custom discounts

Click a box to view all members with special discounts. There’s no longer a need to create separate clubs for inter-winery, friends, or family discounts.


📊 Reporting Updates

Tendered Items in Inventory & End of Day Reports

Quickly see which products were given away, damaged, or used for marketing with a new column that tracks tender items and tender type in the End of Day Report. This is on the EOD report from the POS.


Inventory Report Export Button

You can now export your full inventory list into a spreadsheet in just one click. Choose to export by a single location or combine all locations into one file—making it easier than ever to review, analyze, or share your data. Look for the new Export Inventory option in your dashboard and get started today!

POS Setting to Print Itemized Details on Authorization Receipt

A new option is available in POS Settings: "Print Itemized Auth Receipt". This feature allows you to include all purchase details on the authorization receipt for obtaining guest signatures.

When toggled on, the system will print an itemized list of all purchased items, including quantities and prices, directly on the authorization receipt. This ensures clarity for your guests and provides a clear breakdown of their charges before they sign.

CRV fees and taxes now calculate accurately for bundles containing multiple products, including 2-packs of wine. For example, a 2-pack of wine will have the CRV fee applied to both bottles, ensuring the total reflects the correct amount.

Multiple Shipping Labels for Single Large Order

You can now create multiple packages for a single large order. For example, if an order contains 14 bottles, you can split it into two packages. When you proceed to ship, the system will generate two shipping labels automatically, with all dimensions pre-filled for your convenience.

A new "Open Order Details" button has been added to the confirmation email sent to wineries when an order is placed. Staff can click it for quick, detailed access to the order.

There is now a specific button to toggle on if you want to extend member discount settings in the tasting room while simultaneously excluding discounts on wines by the glass.

Categorized Items Now Available Orders > Reports> Inventory

The Orders > Report section now includes a categorized listing of items on the inventory tab. The items are grouped into categories such as wines, flights, and events. Items within each category are displayed alphabetically, with total counts provided for each category. Additionally, these categorized reports will also appear on the printed version of the page.
