Members can conveniently pick up pending club releases during their visits to the tasting room. Even if an active club order has been initiated but not entirely processed, it will now be visible on the POS member profile. If the member arrives at the tasting room before the order is fully processed, they can add more wine to their order, facilitating an upsell for you. Additionally, this feature caters to members by enabling them to pick up their orders ahead of schedule.
A recent enhancement has been made to the POS, allowing users to access an up-to-date summary of past orders. This update ensures that the staff has an accurate understanding of the member's lifetime value. Now, when you navigate to the All Orders section within a member's profile on the POS, you will find complete visibility of all club orders. This list will not only include past orders that were picked up, but also those that were shipped.
Enhance the efficiency of the checkout experience with customers. Now, when staff collects an email during checkout, the checkout screen can automatically close and direct back to the POS home screen. This new setting prevents staff from manually closing unnecessary prompts to print receipts after sending emails to customers. This feature can be easily toggled on and off in the POS settings, providing customizable control over your checkout process.
You can explore the updated RSVP view now available in the Events section of your Dashboard. The updated filters provide a streamlined and efficient display of event date, time, name, and status, enabling you to easily filter for past, present, or future events. Each event in the list is clearly labeled with the aforementioned details for improved clarity and usability.
You can now quickly add customers on the POS with just a few required fields. Storing this data lets you easily segment customer lists from tasting room visits. Don't miss the opportunity to engage in follow-up email marketing campaigns with your visitors or be able to track past purchases. You can also optionally swipe to add a card on file for them.
Authorized orders now can have a separate view in Open Orders. Empower your staff to effortlessly oversee and confirm the completion of authorized orders at End of Day, keeping the open orders more easily accessible.
If one of your club members would like to be up on hold, you have the option to apply one of two hold settings to their profile. The previous version only offered a temporary hold option, requiring an end date. The new version introduces a permanent hold, formerly known as "Skip Shipment."
In certain scenarios, asking for a date of birth may be unnecessary. When you're sure the customer is over 21 and want to avoid compliance errors during shipping, we've got you covered. Our latest update introduces a convenient checkbox on the POS. By toggling on this setting in the customer profile, you can easily confirm their age is over 21.
Club members might have various reasons for temporarily holding their membership, and VinesOS has long been supportive of this feature. We have now enhanced our data system to accurately reflect this membership status. Going forward, these members will not be included in the 'Active' members export, providing you with a real-time overview of those set to receive the processed club for the cycle, including both regular members and those with gifted memberships.

When a member cancels your club, VinesOS seamlessly syncs this action to Mailchimp. The customer will be automatically added to your designated Mailchimp list for canceled members. This feature empowers you to communicate with this specific group in a targeted manner—whether offering promotional savings for rejoining the club or presenting alternative loyalty options like subscriptions. If they rejoin a club, they will automatically be taken off the Mailchimp canceled members list.
