• Comprehensive Data Exports: You can now export all essential contact data—including names, email addresses, and phone numbers—directly into Excel or CSV formats.
• Visual Handoffs: To make data handoffs seamless, CSV exports now include captured images, ensuring your team has all the visual context they need right inside the file.

Optimized Device Interactions (Raycasting)

We’ve fine-tuned how the platform detects and responds to your inputs, tailoring the experience whether you are working on a tablet or a desktop.

What is Raycasting? Think of raycasting as the system's invisible laser pointer. Every time you click with a mouse or tap a touchscreen, the app shoots an invisible "ray" from your finger or cursor into the screen to figure out exactly what object or button you are trying to interact with.

We have optimized this technology to prevent accidental clicks and improve responsiveness:

• For Touch Devices: Raycasting has been calibrated so touch inputs only trigger actions on a deliberate tap—meaning fewer accidental triggers while scrolling or gesturing.
• For Desktops: Mouse interactions remain highly responsive but are now throttled behind the scenes, reducing unnecessary system strain and boosting efficiency.
• Interruption-Free Performance: General under-the-hood improvements ensure everything runs smoothly in the background.

Zero Signal? No Problem! 📱✨

We know how frustrating it is to lose service when you're right in the middle of a job. This update is all about making sure the app works exactly when and where you need it—even deep in a basement with zero bars.

🏗️ The Big News: Real Offline Mode for 3D Buildings

You no longer need an internet connection to view your 3D building models. The app now handles the heavy lifting in the background so you can keep working offline.

• Automatic Saving: The app now automatically saves the last 3 buildings you opened directly to your phone.
• A Cleaner Offline View: When you lose signal, the "Twin" tab automatically changes to show you a clean list of exactly which buildings are saved and ready to view offline. To keep things simple, tabs that absolutely require internet will temporarily hide themselves until you're back online.
• Starts from Scratch Without Signal: Even if your phone is completely offline before you even open the app, you can still launch it safely and get straight to work.
• Safe and Secure: You’ll stay securely logged in while offline. If you share a device and explicitly log out, the app instantly wipes all cached building data to keep things secure.

🌍 Language Updates

• Hei Suomi! (Finnish Language Support): We have added full Finnish language support across the mobile app for our teams in the Nordics.

🐛 Bug Fixes & Everyday Improvements

We have ironed out some of the most annoying bugs to make your daily experience a whole lot smoother.

• Better Battery Life: We found and fixed a major performance bug that was chewing through your phone's battery. Your phone will run cooler and last longer now.
• No More Network "Flicker": Fixed that annoying issue where the app would blink between online and offline states when you had a weak or shaky signal.
• Fewer Crashes on Work Orders: Fixed a behind-the-scenes bug where missing bits of data in a work order would cause the app to crash. Now, it loads smoothly anyway.

• Clearer Asset Markers: PNG and WEBP image thumbnails now display perfectly right on your asset markers, giving you instant visual context without the guesswork.

⚡ Performance Boosts

• A Lag-Free Contacts Page: We’ve optimized the contacts page to prevent it from stalling or freezing. You can now scroll, search, and navigate your contacts seamlessly.

🔑 Security & Permissions Fix

• Admins Can Finally Admin: We fixed a glitch with user roles. If you are in the Admin group, your full admin rights are restored—meaning you can create new locations again without a hitch.

Improved incident detection and clearer statuses

We have just rolled out a few under-the-hood tweaks to keep your app running smoothly. Here is what’s new in the latest version:

• Faster Performance: We have upgraded how the app talks to our new backend system. This means incident detection is now faster, more efficient, and lighter on your device.
• Clearer Statuses in the Action Centre: No more guesswork. The Action Centre now clearly displays distinct status options for incidents, work orders, and requests, making it much easier to track exactly what's happening at a glance.

Streamlined Field Asset Registration & Offline Support (v2.1.19)

We have updated the asset registration workflow in version 2.1.19 to reduce time spent on-site and improve reliability in areas with poor connectivity.

Photo-First Asset Registration

Field technicians can now create assets quickly by prioritizing visual documentation over manual data entry while on-site.

• Draft Creation: Take a photo and save the asset immediately to create a background draft.
• Delayed Data Entry: Complete the required text fields and documentation later when it is more convenient.
• Background Sync: Drafts sync automatically to the cloud in the background.

Full Offline Capability

The app now fully supports asset registration and updates without an active internet connection.

• Local Storage: All offline registrations and edits are securely cached as drafts on your mobile device.
• Automatic Re-syncing: The app detects when your connection is restored and automatically uploads pending drafts to the server.
• No Manual Intervention: There is no need to manually re-open, review, or trigger a save on offline drafts once you are back online.

A prompt will alert you if you delete floor plans that contain assets. Assets will be unplaced.
