Since we retired the RemoteMix News Center, we wanted to note here what we've rolled out in the last few months with RemoteMix. Stay tuned for more exciting updates next week!

June 24, 2025: Virtual Groups have gotten an update- you can now rearrange your Virtual Groups with a simple drag and drop.

May 20, 2025: Today we released a fix for a bug which limited channels shown for customers using certain Allen & Heath mixers with some linked stereo channels.

May 06, 2025: Today's release improved visibility of the "All Groups" button in Virtual Groups and fixed a bug where the photo wasn't loading on the Wing mixer.

April 29, 2025: Today's release fixed three small bugs that were making it more difficult to sign up for the RemoteMix Paid plan, and we added a footer and resources tab with some links into the RM Dashboard.

April 15, 2025: The waitlist is a thing of the past- RemoteMix sign up is open to all.

Great news for RemoteMix users! Now, you can directly "steal" an input from another Virtual Group when editing your current one. This means you no longer have to remove a channel from a group before adding it elsewhere, making adjustments much more user-friendly!

We're excited to announce the beta launch of our Roku app, allowing you to create and publish your own custom Roku app as part of our OTT app suite.

Please note, this initial release doesn't support viewer account logins, so monetized or gated content won't be accessible on Roku. If your channels rely heavily on these features, we recommend waiting for version one.

Today we released an update that:

• Added support for multi-language captions
• Fixed a bug where changing the playback speed or quality on a mobile device would select the wrong option

Starting 2025 strong, our devs released an impressive number of bug fixes today, including:

• Manual Scoreboard does not populate score if you navigate to a different Dashboard tab before score takes effect
• Upcoming Simulated Live broadcasts showing "Recording has expired" in thumbnail image
• End Broadcast button appearing before broadcast is actually live
• Pre-Roll videos auto-play, even when the embedded player is set to not auto-play
• Inability to edit past broadcast with a deleted source
• Individual embeds do not honor custom thumbnail image if a thumbnail already exists on video
• Single broadcast with long name or source name causing embed issues​
• Broadcast selection modal tooltip restricted to single column of text

This week we released an update that fixed a bug where adding multiple destinations to a broadcast would sometimes remove the Facebook destination.

The latest Spark firmware update released today includes:

• A change in the way audio levels are shown. Previous versions of Spark firmware reported audio levels on the meter using RMS levels. This version changes to use peak levels, so the meters should be more accurate to when the input is clipping.
• Additional on-screen audio controls and a cleaner user interface. You can now control the levels of the analog and embedded HDMI audio signals relative to each other, as well as muting either of those signals, directly on the Spark UI.
• Visual indicators for RemoteMix usage. A RemoteMix icon displays in the upper right corner of the screen when someone is using your Spark in RemoteMix, along with a badge displaying the number of connected users, and the light ring “breathes” gently to indicate the same.
• Additional error and troubleshooting indicators. We’ve added some badge notifications to let you know if the microSD card you’ve inserted is full or improperly formatted.
• Performance improvements.

We've fixed a bug in the overlays feature that was causing weird behavior when resizing in Broadcast Details & Producer.
