BoxCast Sites has a new countdown timer that integrates with the BoxCast Streaming Dashboard. You can set it up and forget about it, as it automatically pulls all information related to your next broadcast directly from the Streaming Dashboard. See how it works here!

This week, BoxCast's graphic Overlay feature received updates based on feedback we've received from you! Here are the highlights:

• You have more control over your image position and can even drag images partially or fully off-screen.
• For recurring broadcasts, you can apply changes to all the broadcasts in the series or just the broadcast you're currently editing.
• You can now use hotkeys, like selecting the Overlay in the preview window and hitting the delete button on your keyboard to delete the image.
• A new Active Overlays section allows you to change the order of the Overlay layers.

Trimming Feature

Our trimming feature has undergone quite a few improvements, including:

• The ability to view the broadcast in the same window while you're making edits
• A more precise trim from broadcasts sent from a BoxCast encoder
• Entering time stamps instead of having to use the scrubbing feature
• And more!

Rich Text Editor

You can now add rich text to your broadcast description! Add a link, use bold or italics, and even make a list all in the description field.

We’re excited to officially launch our new website builder, BoxCast Sites! Sites lets you easily customize your church website — without having to code — and like our streaming service, is made to help you:

• Engage your community
• Streamline your workflow
• Save valuable time

With Sites, we offer personalized design consultations, content migration, domain transfer, and publishing when your new site is ready to go live. Or you can DIY — we’re flexible!

Today the scheduling page got another exciting update! When you go to Schedule in the BoxCast Dashboard, you'll now see a few different options to create a Broadcast:

• Standard Scheduling- This is the usual default broadcast scheduling page
• Quick Test- Great for streaming quickly (and privately) when you need to test things out
• Producer- Stream right from your computer with our browser-based streaming solution
• Bulk Import (CSV)- A great tool for uploading more complicated broadcast schedules

The new Schedule page design we released last month is also live for everyone, with an option to opt-out (instead of opt-in) for now. Please let us know any feedback you have - positive or negative- in the chat!

Our Product team has been working to improve the Schedule page! They've given it a fresh look and added functionality, along with some helpful tips for tricky settings. These updates are live - opt in and give them a whirl when you have a chance!

We released some big updates to the Edit Broadcast page. We encourage you to check it out yourself, but here are some highlights:

• You can add a new channel without having to exit and go to the Channels tab
• Destinations such as Facebook and YouTube are color coded so you can easily identify which outputs are live and connected and which are not
• At-a-glance text lets you know how long until your broadcast begins

To test out these features and more, go to the Broadcasts tab, then click on the Edit button on any broadcast on that page.

Note: These features will only show up in the Edit screen from the main Broadcasts tab for now — they won't show up if you click on the broadcast itself and then hit Edit. We appreciate your patience as we continue to push these updates everywhere in the platform!
