Ranked Leads on Core Haves and Needs

Find your best buyers and sellers, right from your Core Haves and Needs. The new Leads tab replaces Suggested Companies with a ranked list built from your actual history with each company, so the best prospects rise to the top.

Core Buyers on Haves

• Open any Core Have and select the Leads tab, then Core Buyers.
• You’ll see the Core Companies that have posted a matching need or placed a matching order, ranked in Recommended order with the strongest candidates first.
• The ranking looks at how closely each company’s needs and orders match your material, price and location, how recent they are, how much volume they’ve asked for or bought compared with your have, and whether they’re a repeat buyer.

See Why Each Company is Listed

Every company shows one or more signals, so you can judge the match yourself.

• Active Need - a current need that matches this have
• Recent Order - a matching order in the last 90 days
• Past Order - a matching order older than 90 days
• Past Need - a matching need that has been completed or has expired

Compare Prices at a Glance

• Highest Price shows the highest price across the company’s matching needs and orders.
• Most Recent Price shows the price from their most recent matching need or order.
• Click either price to open the need or order it came from. The ID and date appear underneath so you can see where the price originated.

Reach Out Faster

• The Contacts column shows how many contacts the company has. Click the eye icon to see everyone, with a copy email button next to each.
• The Representatives column shows who owns the company.
• Pair it with Copy to Clipboard from the Actions menu to grab your have details, then paste them into an email.

Core Sellers on Needs

The same Leads tab is now on every Core Need, showing the Core Companies that have posted a matching have or supplied a matching order.

• Active Have and Past Have signals replace the need-based signals.
• Lowest Price replaces Highest Price, since a lower price is better when you’re buying.

Additional Notes

Suggested Buyers and Sellers

• Suggested Buyers and Suggested Sellers have moved into the Leads tab and are now called Network Buyers and Network Sellers.
• Find them under Leads > Network Buyers on Haves and Leads > Network Sellers on Needs.
• The lists themselves haven’t changed.

New Shipment Status

• A new "Resolved" shipment status allows you to mark a rejected shipment as fully resolved.
• Note that any existing shipments with a status of "Rejected" have been automatically moved to a status of "Resolved" as part of the release.

Table View for Companies, Haves, Needs, and Inventory

You can now utilize a new table view on your Core Companies, Haves, Needs, and Inventory pages - a denser, sortable layout that makes it easier to scan and manage large lists.

• Click the table icon in the top right of any of these pages to switch between card and table view.
• Use the Columns button to choose which fields are visible and drag to reorder them.
• Click any column header to sort by that field, or continue using the sort drop-down.
• Your column selections and sort order are saved automatically per page and per saved view.

You can also now edit key fields directly from the table without opening a detail page.

• Click on any editable cell to make a change - editable fields are highlighted on hover.
• Changes are saved immediately.

Unified Company Profiles on the Network

We've unified how companies appear on the Matium Network, creating a richer, more complete profile. There is now one profile per company, combining any company-published data with additional information from Matium AI.

If your company has a public profile on the Network, it may contain additional context and locations that Matium AI has gathered. Click on your company in the top left to review and update anything that needs adjustment.

Import to Core

Bring a company from the Network into your internal Core CRM via a single, streamlined interface.

• When you choose to import a company into Core from the Network, we will automatically search your Core Companies for possible matches.
• If we find a match, you can choose to map to this existing Core Company with a single click.
• If nothing matches, you can search for a Core Company on your own or create a new one.
• Intelligence users can now import AI Leads as a Core Company in the same way.

Matches on Core Companies

When you view one of your Core Companies that isn't yet linked to a company on the Network, Matium AI now checks for possible matches on the Network and surfaces them for you to review.

• A "Possible Public Company match" callout appears in the header when Matium AI finds a high-confidence match on the Network.
• Click "Review" to see the suggested match(es).
• Mapping to a Public Company lets you see richer public information about the company - locations, materials, services and more.
• If it's not a match, you can dismiss and Matium won't suggest that pairing again.

Improved Flow for Creating Companies

Creating a new Core Company now starts by searching the Matium Network first, so you can pull in profile data automatically instead of creating from scratch.

• A single search field lets you search by company name, website or domain.
• If we find a match on the Network, click "Use this Company" and we'll pull in the profile data automatically.
• If there isn't a match, you can continue creating the company manually.

Operational Data for Locations

You can now capture and view richer operational details for each company location. Four new fields are available:

• Silo Count - the number of silos at the location
• Facility Footprint - the facility size in square feet
• Direct Rail Access - indicates a rail spur is on the property, allowing rail cars to be received and loaded on site
• Public Rail Yard Nearby - indicates a public rail terminal is within a few miles, so material can move by rail with a short truck haul

On the Network

• View this data on location cards throughout the Network.
• Matium AI has populated this data automatically for many AI Lead locations.
• Edit these details for your own locations any time from your Company Profile - Network (Public) Profile.
• Filter the Network by any of these fields to find companies with the operational capabilities you need.

On Core Companies

• Set these details when creating or editing a location on any Core Company.
• New filters have been added to Core Companies for each field.

Company Size Data

Two new company-level fields help you quickly gauge the scale of a company on the Network:

• Revenue - annual revenue range
• Employees - number of employees

On the Network

• View this data on each company's Network profile.
• Matium AI has populated this data for many AI Leads.
• Edit these details for your own company any time from your Company Profile - Network (Public) Profile.
• Filter the Network by either field to find companies of a certain size.

On Core Companies

• Set these details when creating or editing a Core Company.
• New filters have been added to Core Companies for each field.

Email Invoices to Customers

You can now email invoices directly to your customer's accounting contacts when you generate an invoice for a shipment.

• A new optional Email action is now available when generating an invoice, or from the Documents tab for previously generated invoices.
• Select which documents to include from the shipment (in addition to the invoice itself) and they will download automatically for you to attach to the email.
• The email itself will open with a pre-filled subject line and message body.
• All accounting contacts on the Core Company being invoiced will be pre-filled as recipients.
• Emails open in your default email client (Outlook, Gmail, etc.) so you can review and edit before clicking send.

Additional Improvements

• Material descriptions are now included when using the Copy to Clipboard on Desktop and the Share on Mobile for Haves and Needs.
• PDF documents can now be previewed by clicking on the PDF icon from any Documents tab.

Introducing Market Views

Personalize the market to your exact needs by creating saved Market Views - your own filtered view of offers, requests and auctions.

• Click New Market View from the Market sidebar to create one.
• Set the material specs and location that matter to you.
• Each Market View becomes its own dashboard showing the matching auctions, offers, requests, and suggested buyers and sellers.
• Switch between your saved views anytime from the My Markets section in the left sidebar.

Alerts on Market Views

Don't want to miss a new listing? Subscribe to alerts on any Market View and we'll let you know when something matches.

• Click Subscribe on any Market View to turn on alerts.
• Choose what to be notified about - supply, demand, or both.
• Get notified by email and in-app the moment a matching listing is posted.
• Manage your alerts anytime from the Market View itself.

Market Pricing (Preview)

We're previewing a new pricing reference based on recent transactions on Matium.

• Visit the default Plastics market view to see current pricing across PET, HD/HMWPE, LD/LLDPE, HOPP and COPP.
• This is an early preview - let us know what you think to help shape what comes next.

A Unified Market

Auctions, offers, and requests are now all in one place. Clicking Market in the top nav takes you to a single view with all three together.

• Land on the default Plastic view to see active auctions, offers, and requests at a glance.
• Use the Browse All links on each section to dive into the full list - that's also where you'll find advanced filtering.
• Create a Market View to narrow things down to exactly what you trade.

Refreshed Navigation

We've simplified the top navigation to put your most-used sections front and center.

• The top nav now includes Market, Network, Freight, My Activity, and Core (Internal).
• A new Create button in the top right gives you quick access to list supply and demand on the Market.
• Your company profile and administration settings are now both accessed by clicking your company name in the top left, or under My Company in your user menu.

Additional Notes

• Creating Core items (Companies, Haves, Needs, etc.) is no longer available from the Create menu in the top nav. To create a new Core item, visit the relevant list page in Core.
• You'll be prompted on your next login to tell us how you use Matium - this helps us tailor your experience and alerts.

Copy to Clipboard for Haves and Needs

Sharing your Core Haves and Needs with potential buyers and suppliers just got a lot easier.

• Open any Core Have or Core Need detail page and select Copy to Clipboard from the Actions menu.
• All key details - including images, material specs, terms, and packaging - are copied in one click.
• Paste directly into an email, text message, or chat to share with potential buyers or suppliers.

No more piecing together details across multiple fields when reaching out about supply or demand.

We've significantly expanded our AI Leads coverage, growing from 8,000 North American companies to over 25,000 companies across the global plastics supply chain.

• The new leads focus on international companies outside of North America, making it easier to identify import and export partners.
• Available to Intelligence subscribers under Network > AI Leads.
• Apply filters by location, materials, and services to find the right partners for your business.

Introducing Public Auctions

We're excited to introduce a new way to buy and sell on Matium - Public Auctions.

Unlike Private Auctions where sellers invite select buyers, Public Auctions are open to everyone on the platform. If you're a buyer, that means more opportunities to compete for supply - no invite needed.

For Buyers:

• Browse public auctions directly from the Auctions page alongside private auctions you've been invited to.
• Submit bids and get real-time feedback on your placement in the auction. If a bid comes in ahead of yours, you'll be notified so you can increase your bid and stay competitive.
• Easily find all of the auctions you've placed a bid in with the new Participating filter on the Live auctions page.
• Remember, bidding is always free.

For Sellers:

• All public auctions are currently being hosted by our Verified Team.
• You get the benefit of opening it to our entire verified network - and we handle all buyer vetting, credit checks, and payment protection.

Support for Colorants and Additives

We've expanded our supported plastic materials to include colorants and additives. Users can now list supply or demand for these materials on the Market, making it easier to find partners and move more types of material through the platform.

Improved Filtering Across the Platform

We've improved the filtering experience on the Network and within Core (Companies, Matches, Orders and Shipments). It's now easier to narrow results, adjust selected filters, and quickly find what you're looking for.

Instant Freight Quotes for All Users

All users - regardless of plan - can now get instant freight quotes from our trusted 3PL partners and book lanes with a single click, making logistics faster and simpler.

Expanded Support for Plastics

We’ve expanded our plastic material coverage beyond PE, PP, PVC, PET, etc. The platform now supports dozens of additional plastic materials, including engineering resins, elastomers, fluoropolymers, and thermosets.

All users can now list supply or demand for these materials on the Market. Intelligence subscribers can also receive suggested buyer lists and match notifications for them.

Market Filters

We’ve also introduced a new filtering experience on the Market, making it easier to narrow results using both typical and advanced material properties.

Updates to Private Offers

To make things easier to find, private offers sent directly to your company are now under My Activity in the left sidebar (previously under Market Supply).
