Introducing National Network Map

J
Shared by John • January 22, 2024

For the first-time operators will be able to view networks from a national perspective through a single and authoritative location – the NHVR Portal.

Key benefits for the heavy vehicle industry include:

  • The ability to search by and view available networks for more than 1,000 heavy vehicle configurations, providing better visibility and fleet management decision making.
  • Road network changes will be made in real-time to ensure the most accurate network access information.
  • An easily identifiable view of approved, conditional or restricted routes using a traffic light colour scheme.
  • Different map layers that can be turned on and off to identify rest areas, height restrictions and road disruptions.

Shared by Steven • November 15, 2023

Hi there,

In the latest Portal release there were two new features added:

  • There are new fields in the tyre input section of the DA form that allows tyres to be nominated to an axle position for a vehicle unit. This is an optional field. There is also an additional notes field that has been added for each row in the tyre input section.
  • The validation on the Driveline fields has been refined to allow entry into only a single input field.

Enter track width per axle

S
Shared by Steven • November 02, 2023

Hi there,

Track width for PBS vehicles can now be entered per axle to allow different track widths in an axle group to be entered.

The fields from the axle groups and axles tabs have been combined into a single application step called Axles.

  • The spacings are now entered as the spacing between each axle rather than entering axle spread for the group.
  • Enter the spacing for each axle in a group after the first axle, the first axle dimension will be auto calculated.
  • For track width, tyre spacing and tyre size section width, enter the dimension for the first axle in a group, and then tab, the other axles in the group will auto populate. Then individually edit any of the values to adjust them.

Compliance Module release to all operators

All operators are now able to access the new Compliance Module within the NHVR Portal.

What does this mean?

· All operators have access to the NHVR’s newest feature, the Compliance Module.

· The Compliance Module gives operators an overall view of defect notices issued to their fleet of vehicles

· Operators will be able to identify any defect trends in their fleet, improve quality of their fleet which will reduce the number of defects issued to the operator and result in making roads safer for all.

How do I access the Compliance Module?

You will be able to access the Compliance Module through your existing account. To be able to view the Compliance Module, you must have completed the Registration linking service: https://app.intercom.com/a/apps/onqqjyg6/articles/articles/4834432/show].
