We've spent some time doing some big bug fixes in the software that we think you're gonna love! 👏

📈 Notable Updates

  • The Booking Proposal expiry Sprout Assistant email will now go out as intended.
  • We corrected an issue that caused images that had been uploaded with a space in the name to result in a zip file with broken images when downloaded.

🔨 General Updates

  • The booking process will now attach a Scheduler's Userlist for the Date it generates, while the BP's Userlist will determine who is attached to the Lead it generates.
  • The Organization owner can now add and manage Email Senders on a secondary User.
  • We corrected an issue that caused the "Merge" button to display in Email Marketing Lists when there were no duplicates.
  • Fixed an issue in a Shop's custom layout mode that would result in having two copies of the summary.
  • Fixed a sorting issue for individual items in the shop.
  • The 'age' column on the Questionnaires list page now displays in the correct timezone.
  • Trial accounts can now only send a maximum of 25 outgoing (non-automatic) Emails.
  • Fixed an issue with generating a slug for a Gallery where the name of the Gallery exceeds the limit.
  • All "Reasons for Closing" now show up correctly in a Lead.
  • Contact modal styling on iPad/tablets has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented editing of certain fields in Email Designer Templates and Pricelists on mobile.
  • The drag 'handle' will now work correctly to reorder items inside of the Package modal.
  • Create a script to generate a CSV for corrupt email lists.

💡 Spotlight

  • We have added PNG support to Sprout. Users can now upload PNG files all over the software. PNG supports transparency which allows for some interesting design aspects that Sprout previously didn't have.

📈 Notable Updates

  • On the Calendar page, we added a dropdown menu so you can quickly navigate between years without needing to page through each month.
  • Status changes initiated through Workflows Tasks will now correctly trigger Zapier Zaps.

🔨 General Updates

  • We added proper error messages to show what the error is instead of the code.
  • Corrected a discrepancy with which Item description was being used between the Show Preview and the Pricing Guide/Gallery Shop.
  • The Order # will display consistently between an individual Order and the Orders List Page.
  • Unsubscribed contacts with multiple email addresses in an email marketing campaign will no longer show up as duplicates.
  • Searching will once again work on the Emails List Page.
  • You can now reuse names from previously deleted Download Presents.
  • Turning off an individual Sprout Assistant Email will now also turn it off for existing items (i.e. Leads already created)

  • We have added the Contact detection/merging system to Email Campaigns and Lists to avoid duplicate outgoing emails.

📈 Notable Updates

  • The "Starting From" price for items in the Shop will be more accurate.
  • Digital Downloads will now work properly inside of a Virtual IPS Gallery.

🔨 General Updates

  • Item options (such as paper type for White House Custom Colour) will now display with the correct sort order.
  • You can now modify Calendar Syncing settings for other Users within your organization.
  • You can now interact with the chat when viewing full-screen windows, like editing a price list, for example.

📈 Notable Updates

  • Images hidden inside of a collection will correctly show with the hidden badge instead of disappearing completely.
  • 'Require Approval' will now show correctly on the Dates & Tasks page when the Task is relative to a Date.
  • Scheduled Emails that require approval will continue to appear on the Timeline when past due instead of being filtered away.

🔨 General Updates

  • Marking a Lead as 'Closed' will now always remove the Emails and Tasks.
  • The Designer Email window will correctly associate the Brand with an unattached Email when using Brand variables.
  • The [[download_set]] variable will once again populate correctly.
  • Adding duplicate Products to the same Credit will no longer increase the number of required images.
  • Thumbnail watermarking will now respect the toggle that determines if the watermark is used or not.
  • We corrected an issue where accounts that were previously marked delinquent (e.g., failed payments) would be stuck in that state, preventing some services from working, such as workflows or assistant reminders.
  • Child Tasks will reliably appear on the Timeline when their parent Tasks have been completed.
  • On the Calendar, the current year will be displayed when in the year view mode.
  • Special characters in the title of an Order or Quote will no longer prevent it from being emailed.
  • Frontend Schedulers will no longer get stuck in an infinite loading loop on mobile.
  • The "What's New" link in Sprout will now link to the correct place to view our most recent updates to the software.

💡 Spotlight

  • We made some improvements to how the backend of a Gallery shows updates to existing Favourites. We also made it so the link in the email you get will bring you directly to you clients Favourites and not just to the backend of the Gallery.

📈 Notable Updates

  • You can once again search for existing Contacts within the Email window, as well as for Email Marketing Lists/Campaigns.

🔨 General Updates

  • Updated all of our Zapier sample dates to the current year.
  • Schedulers that have been scheduled via a Workflow will now apply correctly.
  • Workflows that get automatically applied (i.e. when the Client books) will now correctly attach the User to any custom Dates being created.
  • You can no longer click the 'Add Order Button' multiple times in a row on the Orders & Quotes page.
  • Corrected an issue causing the Emails section under a Lead to sometimes break with certain permission settings.
  • File uploading where the filename had additional periods will no longer break.
  • When swapping between Gallery Folders, the scroll position will reset.
  • You can now properly deselect all selected Images when viewing favourited images.
  • You can remove Images from a Download Set through clicking the red 'X', in the same manner you can remove it from a Folder.
  • Child Workflow tasks will no longer misfire in contexts such as with a BP being published.
  • The cart on a frontend gallery will no longer break if you add Products or Services that require "no photos."
  • Contact Form responses will now always display as black text instead of displaying the text colour of how they appear in the Form itself. This prevents scenarios where the text colour on the backend makes the text invisible or difficult to read.
  • The graphs on the Business Health page will no longer be incredibly small when you have a lot of Shoot Types.

💡 Spotlight

  • On the Calendar page, you can now select the month via a dropdown instead of needing to page to the correct month.

📈 Notable Updates

  • The shopping cart icon will now show correctly on mobile devices when viewing a Gallery.
  • Expenses that have an apostrophe in their name can once again be edited.

🔨 General Updates

  • All Email Marketing Emails will automatically be marked as live upon creation. Also, the badges that display the live/paused state are more intuitive.
  • You can no longer attach multiple schedulers to a Workflow Custom Date. This helps avoid some confusing situations when multiple schedulers are responsible for setting the date for a single Custom Date.
  • Fixed an issue that would, in some cases, prevent completed Tasks from being dynamically removed from the timeline.
  • The Contact window has been slightly redesigned to improve usability and clarity.
  • Scheduler variables will now populate consistently when viewed inside of the Email window.
  • The Email Campaign window will now show the sending date and time in the Organization's timezone instead of UTC.
  • Variables inside of a Booking Proposal's Contract will now populate consistently when viewed on the front end, with a Questionnaire attached.
  • You can consistently scroll through Favourites submissions in the backend of a Gallery. A timing issue was preventing you from scrolling in some cases.
  • Adding a Contact with an apostrophe in the name will no longer break the Migration Tool.

📈 Improvements

  • We are now hiding the Shipping section in the Gallery checkout screen if no Shipping options are set on the Gallery.
  • Email Campaigns/Lists will now only ever include one email address per Contact.

🔨 Fixes

  • Click tracking for Email Marketing will now be more accurate.
  • Merging Contacts will now properly clean them up on Email Marketing Lists/Campaigns.
  • Email Campaigns will now correctly auto-add new Contacts as appropriate.
  • You can once again manage Users on a Design Proof after it has been created.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented going through an entire Booking Page/Booking Proposal when it was trying to check if an email address was already associated with a Client.
  • Users with permissions set to edit a scheduler can now duplicate them.
  • You can once again save categories on an Expense.
  • Cloning a Price List will now correctly clone Digital Prints inside of Packages.
  • Opening attachments from an Expense on the Expense Report will work as expected.
  • Gallery variables will now work inside of Designer Emails.

📈 Improvements

  • Rename the "original resolution" default to "high resolution" instead to better indicate what's happening.
  • Moved the 'Trash' button to be the last item in the Bulk Actions menu to make it more consistent with other similar menus.
  • Changed wording on the Scheduler finalize button to say confirm or propose.

🔨 Fixes

  • In a Contact Form, when you try to delete a field that's conditional upon another, the error message will be formatted correctly.
  • Payment Notifications will no longer incorrectly indicate that a $0 payment was received.
  • We made some styling tweaks for outgoing Pretty Emails.
  • The non-taxable column on the Sales Tax Report now works as expected.
  • Notification for a Date set to "manually approve" will no longer say they are "auto-approved".
  • On the list page Emails will no longer appear to have attachments because of open or click tracking being enabled.
  • The button to copy a Contact's address will now correctly include the 'Address 2' line.
  • Inside the Email Marketing windows, the table headers will no longer stack strangely if there are no emails yet.

📈 Improvements

  • Re-enabled outgoing emails for trial accounts.
  • Existing clients will now be asked to sign in when filling out questionnaires on the front end, to reduce duplicate contacts.
  • Sorting any of the meta lists in Settings (i.e. Shoot Types) will now work reliably.
  • Various styling improvements for the 'Pretty Emails' section of the email window.

🔨 Fixes

  • We will no longer show the "Availability" option in Settings for a Booking Proposal since it's meant for Booking Pages.
  • On a frontend gallery, when cropping for prints, the preview will now show the correct crop.
  • In the bulk contact merge wizard, it will no longer show duplicate phone numbers and email addresses with slightly different formatting. (i.e. 123-456-7890 vs 1234567890)
  • Removed the Quick Prints toggle from Virtual IPS.
  • Sending an Email to all placeholder recipients on a Gallery will now work as expected with a large number of recipients.
  • Solved an issue where sometimes you couldn't submit images for a package in a frontend Gallery.
  • Corrected some of the fields in Virtual IPS Gallery Settings to show "seconds" instead of "minutes."
  • Uploading images in an Email Designer Template will show the correct images after uploading.
  • The subject line of an email will now display correctly on mobile.
  • In the Email Marketing window, we will hide the brand selector unless you're using a custom list.
  • Fixed an issue in the email modal where sometimes you would simultaneously see the User's profile image as well as their initials.
  • On mobile, longer Gallery titles will now display more accurately.

📈 Improvements

  • The Contact Analytics Report will now export all contacts, even if certain fields are missing/empty (first name, last name, company).
  • Email will no longer be delivered for Read-Only plans.
  • The status/action badges within the Email Marketing windows have been updated to be easier to read.

🔨 Fixes

  • The timeline will now be updated appropriately and will be more responsive in general.
  • The Sales Report's total number of sales will now properly reflect the correct number of Orders.
  • The Sales Report yearly bar chart will now display the correct numbers.
  • The Top 5 Clients will now correctly sum all of the client's Orders and not just look at their most recent Order.
  • When rescheduling a date with a scheduler, the email that gets sent will now correctly contain a link to the scheduler rather than just the name.
  • Shoot Type names that contain apostrophes will no longer cause duplication on a contact form.
  • Shoot-type names that include extra whitespace will no longer cause inconsistent behaviour when used inside of a Contact Form.
  • Leads created by Contact Forms that only have one Shoot Type will now be created with the correct Shoot Type instead of being Uncategorized.
  • The "Stop all bulk emails" button when unsubscribing from emails will now show the correct "success" message to make it clear that the client has been unsubscribed properly.
  • You can now scroll in the "Favourites" section in the Activity Feed of a Gallery.
