In your POS settings, you now have the option to include a customer identifier, such as a table number, on receipts. Enhance your POS experience by enabling this feature for clearer and more organized transaction records.
VinesOS has a new functionality to assist wineries in compliance with the recently implemented California Bottle Bill. Starting Jan 1, 2024, wineries are obligated to pay a CA Redemption Value Fee (CRV) for DTC sales in California. The new bottle deposit rates for California are as follows:
Check out how to pass along the CRV to consumers at checkout by toggling on a few settings in VinesOS.
Tenders are now available on the POS to track inventory that leaves the tasting room at no charge. The new feature is available with a default list of options at checkout like, "damaged", "donations", and "samples". This new feature is designed to provide you with more detailed visibility over your inventory and assist with tax reporting.
Also! In your POS settings, you can add tenders unique to your business and/or delete menu items that do not apply.
Promote wines from the VinesOS database directly onto the homepage of your 3rd party website. Increase the potential for sales with instant visibility and purchase links to wines available for sale. Just send us a chat or email support@vinesos.com for pricing and setup.
Updating various settings for each individual wine just became much easier. We've added a user-friendly search bar at the top of every wine detail page, making it simpler to navigate through the array of options. By typing in a keyword within the search bar, the system will guide you to the specific section of your wine settings, enabling you to quickly input your preferences and save them.
For the sake of clarity when tracking subscriptions, the system will now clearly say 'renewal' on those that are repeatedly fulfilled. The following records will be updated:
The top deterrent for consumers considering additional wine deliveries to their doorstep is shipping costs. Our newly introduced feature, which enables you to establish flat-rate shipping based on club type and quantity, is an excellent solution. It's designed to foster greater loyalty within your clubs.
Ensure inventory isn't tied up in layaway any longer than necessary! Take advantage of our new "Forfeit" option on declined club orders, allowing you to remove the order and replenish the inventory for immediate sale.
For each of your separate events, you can now create a unique label for the quantity field (e.g., number of guests, number of reservations, number of suites, etc.). This label will display next to the quantity selection field on your event booking page. Please notify the team if you'd like this feature enabled.
You can now use a new Forfeit button to cancel a declined club order, restoring the inventory to the wines that were in the release.
