Hi Friend,
Allow your users to consume, measure, and analyze engagement from your demos straight outta Salesforce.
Until now, your ability to assess the impact of Walnut on your sales and incorporate Walnut data into your sales processes was confined to the Walnut app.
Now, you’ll have the convenience of accessing demo engagement data directly from your Salesforce accounts, opportunities, and contacts. You can effortlessly track demo usage and evaluate its impact with readily available Walnut reports in your Salesforce interface.
This streamlined approach is made possible by seamlessly integrating Walnut with Salesforce and installing our app.
P.S. Only people with Admin permissions in Walnut can enable the Salesforce integration. It’s also necessary that you have an available Salesforce user with access to the Sales Console.

Hi Friend,
Offer your prospects the most authentic product experience by showing interactive elements!
Click Interactions is the easiest way to record any interactive element when capturing your product. Simply click on the element that you want your prospects to interact with and voila!
The result? Every interactive element you record will become live in the demo and will behave in the exact same way your product does.
Which elements should you record?
Why use Click Interactions?
Easier creation of Templates: Save time and effort by easily incorporating various elements such as drop-down menus, search bars, sidebars, and pop-ups into a single screen. This feature simplifies the process of creating comprehensive templates.
Enhanced product experience: Provide your viewers with a more authentic and engaging experience. By recording interactions on the same screen, you create a smoother and more immersive demo of your product.
FYI: This feature is still in beta. So if you wanna opt out, head to the Company Settings and change the permissions.
P.S. We recommend recording Click Interactions while in the fit-to-screen display mode to create a better capture.

Hi Friend,
Enhance the quality of your capture and minimize cases where the capture fails or takes too long by capturing with the debugger.
Until now, the debugger message was exclusively triggered during continuous capture and recorded interactions.
However, with our recent update, the debugger message will now appear on your screen regardless of the capture method you choose.

Hi Friend,
We’ve made it easier to organize and locate what you've created vs. what was shared with you, and to make sure your team has the right permissions and access to what they need.
Until now, control over your Walnut library was quite limited. All folders were public, but the content inside them was not.
Now, you can define who has access to the folder and the type of access they’ll have to the demos inside the folder - all in one place.
What has changed:
1. Now, there’s a new structure to the left side menu to differentiate and easily navigate between content that has been shared with you or created by you. Like Google Drive, but the Walnut way. Here’s what it looks like:
2. Filters - In the filter menu, you can find two new options: one to exclusively view templates and another to exclusively view demos 🔍
3. Folders - Until now, folders have always been public for everyone in the organization, with no way to control it. Now, you can define who from the organization has access to the folder and the type of access they’ll have to the demos inside the folder - all in one place 📁
P.S. Only Walnut Admins and Editors can create and manage folder permissions. Presenters will be able to move demos they created into folders shared with them, but will not be able to create folders of their own.

Now, you can measure the impact your demo has on your sales cycle, create leads, and understand the data collected from your demos.

Hi Friend,
Allow your prospects to view your demo without clicking through it, giving them a click-free experience!
Until now, you couldn’t deliver a demo that has a video-like experience for your prospects. You also couldn’t link between screens or steps that don’t require another click to replicate your product.
Going forward, you’ll be able to play the entire demo for the prospect automatically without needing to click through it. You can also autoplay through specific screens so that the demo truly replicates the feel of your product.
When's best for you to use it?
Check out how to enable autoplay in this cool Walnut demo, or learn more about it.
Hi Friend,
In a few weeks, we’ll be removing the multi-resolution capturing method.
But don’t worry, existing demos won’t be affected and you can create the same result by adjusting the display options in the template settings.
