Full background sync, a new camera with zoom and flash, built-in photo editing, and complete visibility into who's signed in to your account.

This is a big one for the field. The mobile app now syncs in the background โ€” data, photos, and documents โ€” so your crew's work moves to the office while they get on with the next job. There's also a new native camera with zoom and flash controls, photo editing built right into the app, and full visibility and control over every session on your account.

๐Ÿ”„ Full Background Sync

This is the headline of the release. The Lever360 mobile app now synchronizes in the background.

What that means for your crew

A tech finishes documenting a room, closes the app, and moves to the next unit. The app keeps working โ€” pushing job data, photos, and documents to the server on its own. No one has to sit and watch a progress bar, and nobody has to remember to come back and check.

What's included

  • Background data sync โ€” job records, notes, and edits continue syncing while the app is closed
  • Background media upload โ€” photos and documents upload in the background too, which is where most of the volume lives on a real job
  • Connectivity awareness โ€” the app recognizes when a usable connection is available and works with it

Why it matters

Photo volume is the single biggest thing standing between a job being documented and that documentation being usable by the office. Moving it to the background means the office sees the work sooner, and the tech stays focused on the job.

๐Ÿ“ธ A New Camera and Photo Editing

Two upgrades to how your crews capture and finish photos on site.

A native camera built for job sites

Lever360 now uses native camera support on both iOS and Android, with a capture interface built for the conditions your crews actually work in:

  • Pinch to zoom โ€” get a usable shot of a ceiling stain or a meter reading without climbing
  • Flash controls โ€” right in the top corner of the camera, for crawlspaces, attics, basements, and behind-the-appliance shots
  • An expanded capture interface โ€” more room and more control while shooting (.5 zoom)

This applies across the app's capture options, including Multi-Photo Capture โ€” so a tech walking a property with the shutter camera gets zoom and flash on every shot in the run.

๐Ÿ“š New to Multi-Photo Capture? How to Use Multi-Photo Capture in Lever360

Photo editing built in

Photos can now be adjusted right in the app, with no exporting to another tool:

  • Rotate โ€” set the orientation
  • Reflect โ€” flip horizontally or vertically
  • Crop โ€” frame the shot on what matters
  • An expanded viewer and editor โ€” more space to review what you captured before it goes out

Switch photo editing on first

Photo editing is a per-user setting, so each person turns it on for their own device. That means you can roll it out to a few techs first if you'd rather.

On the mobile app: tap More โ†’ Settings โ†’ find the Photo section โ†’ toggle on Image Editing.

Multi-Photo Capture lives in the same Photo section, if anyone on your team hasn't switched that on yet.

Together, a tech can capture a property with zoom and flash, frame and orient each photo on site, and background sync carries the whole set to the office from there.

๐Ÿ“š Step-by-step, with video: How to Rotate, Reflect, and Crop Photos in Lever360

Active Sessions and Access Control

What it is

You can now see every active session on your account โ€” web and mobile, for every employee โ€” in one place, and end any of them whenever you need to.

How to get started

Go to Settings โ†’ Company Settings โ†’ Revoke Tokens.

What you'll see

The screen opens with a count of how many people are currently signed in, and a list grouped by person. Expand anyone to see each device they're signed in on:

  • Who's signed in โ€” every employee with an active session, and how many sessions each one has
  • What they're on โ€” the actual device and browser, like "Edge 151 ยท Windows" or "Apple iPhone 17 Pro ยท iOS 26.6," with the mobile app version alongside it
  • When they were last active โ€” in plain relative time, like "1 minute ago" or "26 minutes ago"
  • Your own device โ€” marked with a This device badge, so you always know which session is the one you're sitting in

There's a search box at the top for finding a specific person or device.

What you can do

  • Revoke a single device โ€” end one session and leave the person's other devices signed in
  • Revoke a person โ€” sign someone out of everything at once
  • Revoke All Tokens โ€” end every session on the account in one action

Anyone you revoke is signed straight out of the system.

Why it matters

A phone gets left on a job site. A tablet gets retired. Someone moves on mid-week. You can see exactly what's connected to your account and end access in seconds, yourself.

๐Ÿ“š Full walkthrough, including how to pair this with deactivating an employee: Managing Active Sessions with Revoke Tokens

Employee Deactivation, End to End

Deactivating an employee now does the whole job at once.

Access ends immediately

They're signed out on both web and mobile, and their access ends the moment you deactivate them. A confirmation prompt appears first, so it's always a deliberate action.

They come off every assignment list

A deactivated employee is cleared from every place you'd assign new work:

  • Job, task, company, and contact assignment
  • Equipment and vehicle assignment
  • Timecards
  • The technician matrix and employee pickers
  • The resource list
  • Text message participants
  • Any assigned phone number

Notifications stop as well.

Their history stays with you

Deactivation ends access and keeps records. Past jobs, schedules, tasks, notes, resource and schedule history, and every link to companies and contacts stay exactly where they are. You keep the full record of the work they did.

You'll know when access changes

You're notified when a password is changed or a session is revoked, so you always have visibility into access on your account.

Job Syncing

Mobile and the web app now coordinate edits field by field.

Field-level updates

When a tech changes something on a job, mobile sends that specific field. If someone in the office is working on the same job at the same time, both sets of changes come through together

Job Status and Next Step Notes

Job Status and Next Step Notes always show the most recent value, including across offline work that syncs later. Status changes flow through the dedicated status-change workflow on mobile, and status log entries from the field and the office are combined so you see the full sequence.

Edits in progress

Pending edits stay on the device through an app restart and remain queued until they've been sent, then clear on their own.

๐Ÿ”ง General Platform Improvements

  • Session security โ€” Refreshed authentication across the platform, including token handling, revocation, and multi-company switching
  • Text messaging โ€” Refinements to SMS history, delivery and status display, and participant management
  • Last Visit Date you control โ€” Last Visit Date tracks actual visits, and note types now carry an "Affects Last Visit Date" setting so you decide which notes count as one
  • Technician matrix โ€” Employee names and lists display consistently throughout the matrix
  • Precise job data handling โ€” Job updates apply exactly to the field they target, including nested details

๐Ÿ’ป Web Improvements

  • Continuous sign-in โ€” Sessions refresh quietly in the background, keeping you signed in while you work
  • Clear session hand-off โ€” When a session ends, you're taken straight to sign-in with a clear message
  • Editable lists โ€” Editable lists handle empty states smoothly
  • Revenue Item entry โ€” Revenue values accept smoothly as you type
  • Revocation modal โ€” A clearer revoke access modal, with confirmation before access is ended

๐Ÿ“ฑ Mobile Improvements

  • Session check before sync โ€” The app confirms your session before syncing, so uploads always land against a current login
  • A snappier interface โ€” The search bar responds instantly as you type, the app opens straight into your work, and job cells render cleanly in job lists
  • Device details โ€” Sessions carry rich device information, including recognizable Apple device names, so each one is easy to identify

The More tab on the mobile app is now a full status panel โ€” connection quality, sync progress, and the status of every file in the upload queue, all in one place.

This release puts more information in your hands. Open the More tab and you can see how well your phone is reaching the Lever360 server, what each sync process is doing, and exactly where every photo in the queue stands. There's also a one-tap way to refresh your session whenever the app asks for it.

๐Ÿ“ถ Connection Quality at a Glance

A new Connection indicator at the top of the More tab shows how quickly your phone is reaching the Lever360 server, with a plain-language rating and the current response time in milliseconds.

  • Good connection โ€” the server is responding quickly and consistently
  • Sync may be slow โ€” the connection is working, with slower or uneven response times
  • Sync may not complete โ€” some requests aren't reaching the server; a stronger connection will move things along faster
  • Offline โ€” the server isn't reachable from this network right now

Two things worth knowing. Offline can appear on a full Wi-Fi signal โ€” that usually means you're on a network that hasn't let you online yet, ex. a hotel or guest network waiting on a sign-in page is the classic case. And whatever the indicator says, your work stays queued safely on the device and uploads as soon as the connection is back.

Sync Status You Can Read

Database Sync and Upload Media Sync each have their own icon and a clear status, so you can see at a glance what's running and how much is left to send. There's also a shortcut button that opens the Upload Media list directly.

Database Sync shows Offline, Stopped, Busy, Connecting, or Idle. Upload Media Sync shows Offline, Busy, or Idle.

Force Sync is now a single animated tap that runs once through to completion, which keeps things smooth across every device including older phones.

The Pending count tracks the queue in real time and clears as soon as sync reaches Idle.

File Status on the Upload Media Page

Every file on the Upload Media page now carries additional l status icon, so you can see exactly where each one stands:

  • A crossed-out photo icon means the file is no longer on the device, so there's nothing for the app to send
  • A photo icon with a lock means the app needs photo or file permissions granted in your device settings

Grant the permissions and the page refreshes to show each file's individual status. Worth knowing: while permissions are pending, every file shows the lock icon โ€” granting access lets the app read each one and report on it individually.

This operates on top of the existing sync icons:

  • Cloud when full synced
  • Phone icon when only local and pending sync

Find it under More โ†’ Settings โ†’ Upload Media.

One-Tap Session Refresh

Your session is secured with tokens that refresh automatically in the background. If yours ever needs a manual refresh, the app now tells you right away โ€” with an on-screen message and a red sync bar, so you can see at a glance that it wants your attention.

Tap Sign In, enter your password, and you're back. With Face ID it takes seconds.

  • Your local data stays exactly where it is
  • Everything queued uploads as soon as you're signed back in
  • Sync picks up from where it left off

Dismiss the message and a Sign In button stays at the top of the More page, so you can come back to it whenever suits you.

A faster way to upload multiple photos on web, a new Twilio settings safeguard, and mobile sync improvements including a sync-status notification.

This release adds a quicker way to upload multiple photos on web, a new safeguard in your Twilio settings, and mobile sync improvements, including a notification that keeps you informed when syncing pauses.

Web Improvements

In the Pictures tab, you can now select and upload multiple photos in one action. Hold Ctrl to pick individual files or Shift to select a range. Available across the Job List and Job Details upload flow.

A reimagined Dry Log Report powered by our new server-side report engine, plus a wave of refinements across QuickBooks, scheduling, reports, and mobile.

This release brings one of the biggest improvements to our reporting engine yet โ€” the Dry Log Report is now generated entirely server-side, freeing up your browser and unlocking a clean, branded, insurance-ready dry log document. FYI, more reports to come to the updated report builder engine! Alongside that, we've tightened QuickBooks integration, refined report headers, added customizable column views on Revenue, expanded mobile contact handling, and rolled out a long list of polish across both web and mobile.

Note on mobile: The mobile portion of this release is pending App Store and Google Play approval. You'll be prompted to update once available.

Featured: The New Dry Log Report

Even large reports with lots of pictures are now generated in a size that is easier to share.

What's included in the report:

  • Fully updated design with a cover page
  • Updated company info header
  • Table of Contents
  • Reduced file size
  • Per-room atmospheric readings (Temp, RH, Grain Depression, GPP, VP, Dew Point, drying day, user)
  • Per-room moisture points (location, material, dry goal, meter type/scale, drying day, user)
  • Point Location Reference section with reference images
  • Logs, pictures, and notes with album, room, date, and description
  • Page-numbered footer with generation timestamp and generating user

Major upgrades to mobile photo capture, a refreshed QuickBooks integration, and a round of refinements across Job List search, invoicing defaults, and mobile workflows.

This release brings meaningful upgrades to mobile โ€” making field photo capture significantly faster and more flexible โ€” alongside an updated QuickBooks integration and a round of targeted refinements across both web and mobile. Here's what's new.

New Feature!

Faster, More Flexible Mobile Photo Capture (Headline Update)

Field documentation just got a lot smoother. Two big improvements to the mobile photo gallery:

Multi-take photo capture

You can now take multiple photos in succession without having to confirm each one individually. Snap a series of photos rapidly while walking a job site, and they'll all be captured in one flow.

Learn more via our helpdoc

Removed per-job upload limit on iOS

The previous photo upload limit on iOS has been lifted. Capture as much job documentation as the work requires โ€” there's no longer a cap.

Together, these changes make mobile photo workflows dramatically faster for technicians, estimators, and project managers documenting jobs in the field. (LD-457)

General Platform Improvements

QuickBooks integration aligned with Intuit's latest webhook standard

We've migrated Lever360's QuickBooks integration to Intuit's new CloudEvents webhook format. This keeps your QuickBooks Online sync running reliably and on the latest supported infrastructure, with no action required on your end. (LD-268)

Web Improvements

Default Invoice Percentage now set to 100%

When creating a new invoice, the default percentage now starts at 100% โ€” matching the most common use case and reducing manual entry for full-value invoices. (LD-426)

Job List search now works alongside Customer Name sort

Searching the Job List while sorted by Customer Name now returns results immediately โ€” no need to toggle filters or re-trigger anything to surface matches. (LD-492)

Assignees field search is now case-insensitive

The Assignees field search now matches names regardless of capitalization, so you can find people quickly without worrying about how their name was entered. (LD-487)

Backend platform modernization, improved diagnostics on the Revenue Estimate Scope details page, and a round of refinements across job assignments, invoice files, and form template tags.

This release lays important groundwork on the Lever360 platform โ€” restructuring our backend architecture to support faster feature delivery going forward โ€” alongside a focused set of refinements that improve everyday workflows. Here's what's new.

General Platform Improvements

Backend modernized to a multi-project architecture

We restructured the backend solution into a modular, multi-project layout. This is foundational work that prepares the platform for faster feature delivery, microservice expansion, and cloud-native capabilities going forward. No changes to how the app behaves โ€” but a meaningful step forward under the hood. (LD-467)

Improved diagnostics on the Revenue Estimate Scope details page

We expanded backend logging across Revenue Estimate Scope and Room Line Item activity. When questions come up about scope changes, our support and engineering teams now have richer visibility to investigate and resolve them faster. (LD-471)

Job.EstimateAmount tag on Form Templates now populates accurately

Estimate amounts now flow through correctly into contracts and other generated documents using the Job.EstimateAmount form tag. Your contracts will reflect the right estimate value every time. (LD-443)

Web Improvements

Cleaner Assignee and Account Rep dropdowns

Inactive employees are now properly excluded from selection lists across the app โ€” including Job โ†’ Assignees, Company โ†’ Account Rep, Contact โ†’ Account Rep, and Task โ†’ Assigned To. Your dropdowns now show only active team members, keeping assignment workflows clean and accurate. (LD-189)

Refined invoice file naming on Payment Links

Invoice files attached to Payment Link emails now download with a clean, single .pdf extension โ€” making the file presentation more professional when customers receive them. (LD-441)

Release Notes โ€” *Actions Needed* Version 2.22.0 | April 27, 2026

This release is headlined by a major backend upgrade to how Lever360 handles photos and media, along with new customization options for the Task List and Job List, a new Document Library on mobile, and a number of refinements across the platform.

๐Ÿšจ Action Needed โ€” Sync Your Mobile App Before Updating

Because this release reworks how photos and media are uploaded and processed, we're asking every mobile user to confirm their app is fully synced before installing the update. The release will take place 3 am eastern 4/27. The sync confirmation takes no more than 30 seconds:

  • Open the Lever360 mobile app.
  • Look for a purple bar at the top of the screen. The purple bar is our sync indicator โ€” if it's showing any orange, the app is actively syncing. Let it finish.
  • To trigger a manual sync, swipe down on the main menu, or tap More (bottom menu) โ†’ Resync.
  • Wait for the purple bar to show in full, no orange. Once it's no orange is shown, everything on your device is safely uploaded and you're good to update.

Major Feature โ€” Redesigned Media Upload & Processing Pipeline

What it is: A complete rebuild of how Lever360 handles photos and media behind the scenes โ€” from your mobile device through to processing, thumbnail generation, and PDF output on the web.

What this delivers:

  • Faster, more reliable photo uploads from the field
  • More efficient processing and thumbnail generation
  • Smoother PDF generation using pre-built thumbnails
  • A unified upload system across every area of the platform
  • A modernized storage backend powered by AWS S3

This is a foundational upgrade that sets the stage for future performance and improvements around media. Everything works the same on your end once you've completed the sync step above โ€” just better underneath.

General Platform Enhancement

  • Upgraded database connection โ€” The core database connection has been upgraded for faster, more reliable performance platform-wide.
  • Refined Propelr refund handling โ€” Current Remaining Balance calculations have been refined to reflect Propelr refunds accurately across payment scenarios.
  • Additional Revenue Estimate safeguards โ€” Added further validation and safeguards around Revenue Estimate Scope Details to strengthen save reliability and display consistency, including for edge-case scenarios with partially filled scope breakdowns.

Web Enhancement

  • User-persistent column customization for Task List and Job List โ€” Your column customization on both the Task List and Job List is now saved to your user profile. Set your preferred columns once and they'll stay exactly how you like them every time you log in, on any device.

Mobile Enhancement

  • Document Library โ€” A new Document Library page is now available under More in the bottom menu, giving you quick mobile access to your documents. See Helpdoc >
  • Revenue Details auto-open โ€” After creating a revenue, the Revenue Details view now opens automatically so you can jump straight into the next step.
  • Refined image handling โ€” Additional safeguards added to image editing in the mobile app to ensure smooth upload and display when edits are made before syncing.

How to Update

Web: The update rolls out automatically. If you don't see the changes right away, a browser refresh or cache clear will pull them in.

Mobile: Update via the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) โ€” search for "Lever360" and tap Update. Please complete the sync step at the top of this post first.
