The shortest month of the year is here, but we've got some big updatesβletβs dive in!
Users can create and save customized email templates with images, buttons, icons and more directly from the Marketing Tab. Navigate to the templates section to edit a previously created email template or create a new one. Users can select a pre-made template from the library or select a blank template to create their own.


Users are now able to send a plain text, template, or HTML email directly from the contact page. By selecting the Email button in the engagement bar, users are brought to a 2-step wizard to send their email.

Users with an integrated calendar account within Swivel can now view their scheduled reoccurring meetings within the Swivel calendar. These meetings are view only, giving users within Swivel greater visibility when scheduling appointments for themselves or for other users.

Commissions are now managed separately from policy values, more specifically within the dedicated Commissions tab from each policy or account. Previously, users may have used a dedicated value register to track and manage their commission splits and rates.

Previously, Registers represented the different types of values stored for a given account or policy. They are now referred to as Values and are managed by the product and not the product line. Users can edit the name and order of values on a specific product by selecting Manage Values from the action menu on a product.

When selecting New Template button or editing an existing template, users are brought into an email template builder, where they can add custom content blocks like images, text, social icons, dividers and more. Within these content blocks, users can make additional customizations (font size, color, image size, links, etc) depending on what content they are creating. The drag and drop functionality of the content blocks also allows for quick and easy customization of an email.

When sending a broadcast email through the Email engagement button or on a marketing channel, users can also select a pre-saved template in the email creation wizard to send to a saved contact list.

To send a text message directly to a contact, users can select the Text Message button in the contact engagement bar. This will open a conversation window to send a new message and view previous messages to that contact. If a contact replies to a message, it will also appear in this window.

Before using text messages, you must register the phone number and campaign. Please visit the Text Campaigns collection to review pre-requisites, instructions, and FAQs to get started.
When any contact in your account replies to a text message with a message of their own, users can view their message notifications from the Messages center on the top navigation bar. A red indicator dot appears when there is any unread message in your account.

Our mobile app, Swivel Connect, is now equipped with a user friendly calendar experience. Easily scroll through your current day or upcoming appointments, or quickly navigate to any given day on your calendar.

While sending a broadcast text message allows you to communicate with your contacts in large quantities, sometimes you need to send a more tailored message directly to a contact.
Now you can send any contact a one-on-one text message and receive reply notifications directly from your Swivel account. Yes, it's that simple! π¬π

It's time to stop jumping between calendars and your CRM - with Swivel, you can directly manage your calendar AND other user's calendars directly from the Calendar tab. π

When viewing the calendar tab, users can select from the user drop down to view another calendar within their account. With Microsoft or Google Integration, this view gives you a complete look into another user's day and availability making scheduling appointments or managing calendars more efficient.

At next login, users will have to relink their calendar integration account through Settings. Once your account is linked, users will also be able to select from all calendars from their integration account and decide if they would like those calendar's to be integrated into Swivel.

Users can now view their assigned Tasks and Workflows directly from the Calendar Tab, making meeting with clients and getting your to-do list done more efficient.

Users can now host a screenshare meeting with any contact directly from the Contact Show Page by selecting Screenshare in the engagement bar.
PII Information on Household View
Both the Date of Birth and SSN of the primary and secondary contacts within a Household are now viewable from the Household association view. This ensures users can access vital information while managing applications and client servicing.

On policies and accounts, users can now store Insured Person data. Insured data will also show on the product accordion, Swivel Summary, and is supported via product import and export.
Users can now easily store, filter, export and import County fields for leads and clients. County can be found under the Contact Details section of a contact.
Whether you are meeting with your clients in office or virtually, Swivel allows for real time collaboration and increased confidence in the services you provide with Screenshare.
Users can now host a screenshare meeting with any contact directly from the Contact Show Page by selecting Screenshare in the engagement bar.

While hosting a screenshare meeting, users have many options on how they can interact and show information to their contacts. For example, the host can grant any viewer collaboration permissions to click or complete information fields directly on the host screen. This saves having to schedule an in person meeting when you can get all the information you need completed virtually.
