March 2025: ActiveCampaign 2-way sync

πŸš€ You can now sync contacts 2-way between ActiveCampaign and CRMs

ActiveCampaign now supports 2-way contact sync with Pipedrive and HubSpot. This allows you to sync ActiveCampaign contact updates including the subscription status to your CRM so your contacts are always up to date.

To get started, simply create a new connection.

PS. We're also working on making Copper, Mailerlite and Salesforce 2-way.

Other updates

  • Web tracking: Previously, Outfunnel only showed visits for contacts that existed in your CRM. If someone filled in a form on your website but there was not contact creation automation in place then the web visit would be lost. You can now create a web tracking workflow to allow Outfunnel create the contact in your CRM so the visit is available immediately.
  • Pipedrive: Pipedrive is soon introducing API token limits for users. As a result we've optimized the requests that Outfunnel makes and moved to v2 APIs where available
  • Status page: we've improved the status page syncing experience with an accurate sync in progress bar and improved the contact sync status so they no longer get stuck in "sync in progress".
  • Connection rules: app lists now show list id and count (where available) for easier identification and sync planning
  • Field mapping: contact and organization fields are now grouped separately under field mapping for easier selection.

December 2024: Brevo 2-way sync

You can now sync contacts 2-way between Brevo and CRMs

Brevo now supports 2-way contact sync with Pipedrive and HubSpot. This allows you to sync Brevo contact updates including the subscription status to your CRM so your contacts are always up to date.

To get started, simply create a new connection.

PS. We're also working on making Copper, Mailerlite and Salesforce 2-way.

New lead source tracking parameters

Previously, Outfunnel already recorded UTM parameters from website visits to your CRM so you could track which ads and lead sources converted best.

We've now improved the web tracking script to store Gclid, Facebook, Linkedin and all other ad tool parameters as well.

To start syncing the new parameters to your CRM, simply enable the custom parameter storing on the web tracking workflows.

  • Salesforce: you can now sync web tracking activities and lead source to Salesforce
  • We've heard from multiple users that the Dashboard in Outfunnel was confusing an inaccurate. We have to agree so we've disabled this temporarily while we work on it to introduce an improved and more helpful Dashboard.
  • Mapped and incompatible fields in the filed mapping stage of the connection setup are collated to the bottom of the dropdown for more clarity

November 2024: Multiple Klaviyo improvements + new Constant Contact sync

October was a month of improving the existing and also increasing our app count.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘ Klaviyo segment support

HubSpot and Pipedrive users can now sync contacts from Klaviyo segments to their CRM to make the sync more dynamic. This is super useful if you want to keep your active contact count under control.

πŸ”’ More secure Klaviyo connection

We now support OAuth standard for Klaviyo. If you haven't yet, reconnect Klaviyo here (takes 1 minute).

This enables us to build new advanced features for Klaviyo, starting with instant engagement sync below.

βœ‰οΈ Instant Klaviyo engagement sync

Klaviyo engagement sync is now real-time so all your email marketing events arrive to CRM instantly (previously the sync ran every 2 hours).

Action required: existing engagement syncs still run every 2 hours. To enable the instant sync, simply delete the old sync and create a new one.

We’re excited to announce our integration with Constant Contact, a feature-rich email marketing platform.

This integration allows you to seamlessly connect Constant Contact with CRMs like Pipedrive, Copper, and HubSpot.

Whether you’re looking to automate email campaigns or sync your CRM data effortlessly, our Constant Contact sync helps you become more productive.

Other updates

  • HubSpot IP fields (IP City, IP Country, IP Address1, etc) are now mappable
  • Klaviyo Location fields are now visible in fields mappings page and can be used in contact sync.
  • Calendly sync now support mappings for First and Last name separately. Previously only the Name field was mappable.
  • We've started to revamp Outfunnel's interface to make it more modern and easier to navigate. You may have noticed a new menu bar, changes to the font and some new sync elements already. To be continued in November.

We've been busy with two major updates and a bunch of smaller usability improvements.

HubSpot now supports 2-way contact sync with Mailchimp and Klaviyo. This allows you to sync contact updates like subscription status to your HubSpot account so contacts are always up to date.

To get started, simply create a new connection.

Multiple Klaviyo updates

  • It's now possible to remove bot opens and clicks from Klaviyo. To enable, open your engagement sync and choose to disable bot activity.
  • You can now create Date > Text mappings between CRMs and Klaviyo.
  • Updating a contact email in the CRM will update the existing profile in Klaviyo instead of creating a new profile.

Other updates

  • HubSpot now creates past activities with the actual occurrence date instead of the sync date.
  • Calendly now support outbound call and custom location fields.
  • We've beautified error messages on the status page to make them more clear and actionable.

You can now sync email marketing data to your Salesforce contacts, accounts and opportunities so your sales force has all the marketing data available directly from where they work🍾

Other updates

  • Billing page now shows the next billing amount and any discounts that may have been applied to your account
  • If you are using CRM x Klaviyo contact sync then an email change in the CRM now updates the existing contact in Klaviyo instead of creating a new contact
  • We've optimised the requests that we make to Mailchimp API which has reduced contact sync errors and improved Mailchimp data load times in the UI.

With this update we've added many new fields for field mapping and released a variety of reliability fixes across the app.

Added multiple Calendly fields

  • User name (aka meeting host name)
  • User email (aka meeting host email)
  • Location
  • Meeting start time
  • Meeting end time
  • Contact time zone
  • Tracking (UTM tags captured by Calendly)
  • Meeting name

The activity in the CRM also now contains the User name and email.

Added Mailchimp ecommerce fields

  • Spend to date - all time revenue by the customer
  • Average order revenue - average revenue per order
  • Number of orders - How many orders customer has placed

Added Pipedrive reference fields

  • Tagged user
  • Tagged person
  • Tagged organization

Bug and reliability fixes

  • Some users were running into issues with the connection page loading slowly. It now loads faster. If you are still running into issues, let us know
  • Calendly leads weren't created with the meeting host as the owner. They are now.
  • Contacts that were removed from the sync still stayed on the status page. They don't anymore.
  • When a contact failed to sync from a marketing tool to a CRM an error didn't show on the status page. It does now.
  • Outfunnel no longer tries to endlessly sync contacts to Mailchimp that have a compliance error. This generated needless requests and we are now more lean

Outfunnel can now sync contact data bi-directionally between your CRM and marketing tools.

Yes, you heard that right 🍿

With our new two-way contact sync you can run your sales and marketing operations exactly as you like.

  • You can sync all your contacts across your tools, or only select specific segments. For example, only contacts with open deals or only contacts with a certain label or tag.
  • You can pick which of your tools is the source of truth in case of data conflicts.
  • You can sync all fields bi-directionally or specify certain fields to only sync one-way.

And of course, one key feature of the two-way data sync is that it’s always on, 24/7. No more manual copy-pasting or importing-exporting. Ever.

Currently Pipedrive x Mailchimp and Pipedrive x Klaviyo are supported but we are adding other directions soon.

Big news!

We've completed a major product improvement. Plus, we've made numerous smaller changes and tweaks β€” all of this to make data syncing easier and more reliable for you.

See sync progress and easily fix issues when contacts don't sync

Wouldn't it be nice to have peace of mind that data has fully synced from app A to app B? And to know what to fix when data hasn't synced over?

This is now easy with Outfunnel.​

​Once you've set up a connection between apps you'll get taken to the Status page that displays:

  • πŸ”„ an overview of how many contacts are in sync and how many have errored
  • πŸ§‘ a detailed overview of which contacts have synced over correctly, which have not, and why not.
  • πŸ“ you can even export a csv-file with all the syncing errors.

The sync feed on the Status page is now live for all new contact syncs (ie. syncing contacts from a CRM to a marketing tool) and for both existing and new form syncs (Wix, Facebook, LinkedIn lead forms, WordPress forms).

We've also pushed out various usability fixes:

  • It's now easier to select all forms and/or lists for engagement sync instead of selecting them one by one.
  • Linkedin form name is available as a mappable field
  • When Outfunnel creates a lead in Pipedrive it now gets linked to an organization.

For the last two months, we've been mainly improving the existing and also taking some well-deserved rest :)

Here's a rundown of the updates:

See the full visitor UTM

Previously Outfunnel showed the Source, Medium, and Campaign values from UTMs but we've now also included Term and Content. If available, this shows in your CRM Lead source field, in the website activity, and in the Visitor Feed in Outfunnel.

Cleaner activity content in your CRM

We've made the activities easier to read and have included a URL to both the campaign report and the email itself so your sales team can view the sent/opened/clicked email without having to log in to the marketing tool.

Other updates

  • Elementor Forms file upload field can now be mapped to a CRM field which produces a URL to access the file
  • With ActiveCampaign, Brevo, and Klaviyo we showed the field mapping multiple times if you created multiple rules but this didn't make sense as it's the same contact database. You now only see a single field mapping screen.
  • Reliability improvements for Mailchimp and HubSpot
  • Better field mapping experience for Klaviyo custom fields

πŸ”₯ Multiple Klaviyo integration updates

Klaviyo has been top of mind for us this past month and with multiple new features it's now out of beta!

Here's a rundown of the updates:

Record email engagements from any Klaviyo campaign

All your Klaviyo engagement data can now be recorded to your CRM, including single email campaigns and flows. Simply choose the flows, lists, or segments you send out emails to and start syncing those clicks!

Subscribe/Unsubscribe contacts in Klaviyo

By default, Outfunnel adds contacts that match the CRM segment to the designated Klaviyo list but doesn't subscribe them.

With this update, contacts can now also be subscribed when they match the segment and unsubscribed when they stop matching the segment.

This feature is still in testing mode > reach out to support to activate it for your account

Sync new subscribers from Klaviyo > CRM

It's now possible to sync new Klaiviyo subscribers to your CRM with all the fields! Once the subscriber is added to your CRM, Outfunnel also creates an activity showing which list they subscribed to.

Other updates

  • Outfunnel is now recording multiple unique Mailchimp URL clicks per campaign. Previously only the first URL click was recorded
  • Web tracking and email engagement activities are now also recorded under Pipedrive leads. Previously, they were linked to the contact, organization, and deal object.
  • HubSpot number property type is now supported when mapping fields for a connection
