What's New in ShuttlerockCloud - April Update

S
Shared by Sara • May 05, 2026

From fully modular briefs where you can trash the sections you don't need, to an all-new tabbed Canvas that keeps your project details front and center, this month's updates are all about keeping you in the zone. Plus, you can finally drop spreadsheets and slide decks straight into your briefs.

Stay in the zone with tabs in Canvas

Switching contexts is a productivity killer. Now, when you have a deliverable selected—revisions, creative notes, CreativeX results, QA report, file details—without leaving the page. It’s all the info you need, exactly where you’re working.

More flexible briefs

Every section in the brief is now optional. Use the hover trash icon to remove what you don't need, and the ‘Add More’ modal to bring things back. Simple, flexible, and tailored to your project.

More file type options

We’ve expanded our horizons for uploads. You can now attach .xlsx and .pptx files directly to your briefs or within revision comments.

Keep an eye out 👀 Powerpoint files will soon be reviewable on the Creative page, Review page, and Canvas—a game changer for many!

What's New in ShuttlerockCloud - February Update

Shared by Sara • May 05, 2026

Say goodbye to clunky workarounds and endless scrolling. This month, we've delivered a major upgrade to how you find, brief, and review your work. With the launch of the visual Creative Library, precise multi-unit dimensions (hello, print!), and a brand-new Magnify tool for pixel-perfect reviews, we’ve made sure nothing slips through the cracks—while keeping your daily setup faster and far more intuitive.

New Magnify tool in Review page

Need to get closer to the details? You can now zoom in without breaking your review flow. We’ve added a Magnify tool to the Review page, giving you a 3× zoom wherever your cursor is positioned.

How it works:

  • When you first enter Review, nothing changes — your creative behaves as usual.
  • Turn on Magnify from the tools panel, then hover over your creative to see a 3× magnified frame under your cursor.
  • Navigate between deliverables and the Magnify tool stays enabled, so there’s no need to toggle it on again.
  • Note: The Magnify tool isn’t available on mobile (for now).

Perfect for checking fine details, small text, or edge-case alignment without breaking your review flow.

A language selector has been added to ShuttlerockCloud, giving you more control over how the platform appears.

The Creative Library is live!

Oh yes. Say goodbye to endless scrolling through Completed Projects - your new Creative Library is here, allowing you search, filter, and discover all your approved creative in one visual, organised space.

You'll find it in the side nav just above your account settings area, or jump straight in here: https://cloud.shuttlerock.com/creative-library

What’s in it for you?

  • Visual, concept-led tiles – see your creative at a glance and get inspired.
  • Powerful search – your keyword search pulls results from brief responses, concept names, project titles, or brands. No exact title? No problem.
  • Smart filters – narrow down to exactly what you need, fast.
  • Built for reuse – revisit past projects, pull examples, and create variations without starting from scratch

Multi-unit Dimensions are here

We’ve shipped an update to dimensions in ShuttlerockCloud that unlocks support for multiple units of measurement - making it easier to brief both digital and physical deliverables accurately, without workarounds.

This update improves how dimensions are created, viewed, and reconciled across Briefing and Review, so specs stay clear from start to finish.

What’s new (at a glance)

  • Dimensions can now be defined in pixels, millimetres, or inches
  • Custom Dimensions support decimal values (up to 2 decimal places)
  • Units of Measurement (UoM) are clearly displayed wherever dimensions appear

Standard Formats

Standardised formats now display their dimensions with the correct unit of measurement, assigned at setup (e.g. most digital formats use px, print formats use mm).

No changes required to how you select or use standard formats — everything just works as expected.

Custom Dimensions

When selecting Custom Dimensions during briefing, you can now:

  • Enter width and height using decimal values
  • Choose the unit of measurement (px, mm, cm, meters or inches)
  • See the selected unit displayed alongside the dimensions everywhere they appear

This makes it much easier to accurately brief:

  • Print formats (A4, OOH, posters)
  • Non-pixel-based deliverables
  • Precise physical specs — without awkward px conversions

In short

Everything just lines up. Clearer specs, fewer conversions, and smoother reconciliation - whether you’re working in pixels or print.

Add asset links to briefs

Until now, you had to upload at least one asset before submitting a brief. Now, you can just drop in an asset link instead - no upload required. Pretty handy.

What's New in ShuttlerockCloud - January Update

S
Shared by Sara • February 12, 2026

From choosing your language to building more flexible briefs and smoother revisions, January was all about putting more control in your hands — and making the platform easier to navigate along the way.

Choose your language in ShuttlerockCloud

A language selector has been added to ShuttlerockCloud, giving you more control over how the platform appears.

ShuttlerockCloud currently supports English, Japanese and German, with English set as the default. You can manually switch between available languages at any time via Account Settings → Preferences.

Language preferences are saved in the browser and will persist through sign out and back in on the same device and browser. If you switch browsers or devices, you’ll need to select your language again.

This lays the groundwork for supporting additional languages as ShuttlerockCloud continues to expand into new markets.

More flexible briefs

Don’t need Concept Canvas, Concept Idea, or Concept Basics in your brief? You can now remove them using the trash can icon that appears on hover in the top-right corner of each section — and re-add them anytime from the Add More modal.

Brief Canvas now snaps to content in briefs

We’ve improved how the Brief Canvas behaves in brief.

Previously, if content was added outside the visible canvas area, the canvas could appear empty - with no indication that anything had been added. This made it easy to miss important details.

Now, the Brief Canvas automatically snaps to any content that’s been added, so reviewers land directly on what’s there and can jump straight into reviewing without guessing or extra scrolling.

Picture perfect.

Revision annotations that stick

Revision annotations now behave more intuitively as users move through the editing flow.

New annotations and edits are automatically retained as users navigate between steps like Annotations, Category, and Time when crafting or updating a revision, so inputs don’t disappear mid-flow. This wasn’t always clear before - if the old Save button in the annotation section wasn’t explicitly clicked, those carefully placed annotations could be lost, leaving users to start from scratch.

To take things a step further, the button in the Annotation section has been renamed from Save to Continue, and a Remove option has been added for quick adjustments.

The result is a more forgiving revision experience — where what’s visible on screen is what gets saved.

Notes tab update

The Notes field, previously only visible on hero deliverables, is now available on all deliverables in the Review page.

Notes are synchronized across all deliverables, so any note added will show up on every deliverable in the concept.

You can now review important context or guidance for the entire concept directly on every deliverable, helping reduce duplicate notes and keep feedback aligned across the concept.

What's New in ShuttlerockCloud - December Update

S
Shared by Sara • February 12, 2026

From smarter defaults to faster search and behind-the-scenes fixes, December focused on refining the everyday experience — reducing friction, improving reliability, and helping teams move through projects with fewer interruptions.

Search bar in the format picker

We know scrolling isn't for everyone, so we’ve chucked a search bar into the format picker to speed things up. Just start typing a keyword in the top-left search field and you’ll instantly see matching platforms and formats pop up. Nice and easy. Enjoy!

Missing AutomatedQA report tab is back

For a short moment, the AutomatedQA report tab went missing from the side nav in the Review page - but it’s back now!

A heads-up though: the AutomatedQA tab will only reappear for impacted projects once a new round of creative is delivered. So if a project hasn’t had any new creative delivered since the fix went out, you’ll still notice the AutoQA tab is missing - that’s expected (no AutoPAnic required).

Ordering new formats works again

Recently we fixed the issue where the Submit variations button wouldn’t show if only new formats were added to an approved project. We sorted that out, and the button showed up again - but when clicking 'submit' an error message popped up: “Add at least one revision before submitting,” even though revisions aren’t required (or possible!) in this instance. We’ve fully ironed out the kinks, and you can now order those new formats again, with ease.

No more issues with copy question notes

Editing or deleting existing copy question notes was causing saving errors. This prevented the brief from being saved, blocked other edits, and affected duplicated projects.

The saving issue has now been resolved. Notes can be edited or deleted and briefs (including duplicated projects) can be saved without errors.

Smarter default view on the Review page

We’ve improved the Review page so the panel on the right opens on the most relevant tab when you first land on the page - saving clicks and helping you get straight to the task at hand.

How it works (in priority order):

  • Revisions – opens if revision comments are present
  • Hero Notes (Hero only) – opens if the field contains content
  • CreativeX – opens if enabled and no revision comments are present
  • AutoQA – opens if CreativeX is not enabled and no revision comments are present

If none of these apply, the review panel remains collapsed by default.

A couple of extra details:

  • When navigating between deliverables within the same project, the panel will stay on the tab you’re already viewing.
  • If a tab isn’t available, the system will automatically move to the next relevant panel in the order above.

“Generate copy suggestions” button restored

The AI Generate copy suggestions button is now back in its usual home — right at the top of the copy section.

What this means: You can once again generate AI-powered copy suggestions without needing to scroll or hunt for the feature.

Brand editing now work as expected

When editing a brand, users will no longer be taken to a “Something went wrong” page. Brand profile edits now save and open correctly, making the process smoother and more reliable.

Deliverable-dependent questions display correctly after deleting concepts

We’ve fixed an issue where, if a concept was deleted, the concept below it could temporarily display the questions from the deleted concept. For example, deleting Concept 2 would cause Concept 3 to briefly show the questions intended for Concept 2 until the page was refreshed.

Deliverable-dependent questions now display correctly immediately, even after deleting a concept, removing the need to refresh the page.

What's New in ShuttlerockCloud - November Update

S
Shared by Sara • February 12, 2026

November focused on fixes to the creative review and scaling flow, alleviating friction and removing hard stops (where they're not welcome).

Canvas previews are now true-to-scale

If you spend time in Canvas, you may have noticed previews occasionally appearing reduced or missing due to a frame sizing issue. Now, previews display accurately and to scale - what you see in Canvas reflects the real creative size.

Variation approval flow back to normal

We’ve resolved an issue that was preventing some projects with variations from being approved correctly. Previously, the ‘Review’ page showed the Approve all button while the ‘Creative’ page still displayed Submit all, creating a bit of confusion and keeping some projects stuck in limbo.

This bug was pretty annoying for those who experienced it, so we're glad to confirm that approving projects with variations works smoothly again across both pages.

Version compare functionality restored

The version dropdown in Compare Mode is now back and fully functional.

Ordering new formats on approved projects re-enabled

The ability to order new formats only for an approved project was temporarily broken - sorry about that! Variations and combined orders (variations + new formats) still worked fine, but “formats only” got stuck - the "Submit All" button was a no-show. It’s now fixed, so you can scale projects with new formats on their own again, no problem.

What's New in ShuttlerockCloud - October Update

S
Shared by Sara • February 12, 2026

October focused on clarity, speed, and scalability — with better project visibility, easier creator sharing, and creative quality ready from day one.

Concept-Level Visibility in Project Tracker

You can now expand projects in the Project Tracker to instantly view the concepts within — giving you greater clarity without needing to navigate away.

What this means for you:

  • Quickly understand what sits inside each project
  • Jump straight to the most relevant workflow stage
  • Maintain momentum without extra clicks

Simply expand a project to reveal its concepts, then select one to be taken directly to the appropriate page — whether that’s Brief, Review or another active stage.

Clicking the project name will still open the full project view when you need the bigger picture.

A small update that makes a big difference — especially when managing larger, multi-concept projects.

Share Creator Profiles — No Login Required

Sharing creator options with your team just got easier.

Creator profiles can now be viewed without requiring a ShuttlerockCloud login, making it simple to review and share shortlists via URL and gather feedback faster.

CreativeX CQS Now Enabled by Default

All new client accounts will now have Creative Quality Scoring (CQS) automatically enabled.

This ensures every new project is set up from the start to support stronger creative performance insights — no additional configuration required.

Once a brand is mapped via its brand profile, CreativeX CQS will activate and begin scoring creative against proven quality standards.

You can now preview, annotate, and download .MOV files directly in ShuttlerockCloud. The original .MOV file is always preserved and included in downloads (both bulk and individual). Playback works across Creative, Review, and Canvas pages, with filters, QA, and annotations fully supported.

Playback timing after delivery:

  • 6s videos: ~10–15 seconds

So, if you don’t see instant playback, that’s expected - just give it a moment.

  • Deliverable counts remain accurate, keeping everything organized in one place.
  • Years in the making — go give it a spin and let us know what you think!

PDF delivery in ShuttlerockCloud

We’re over the moon to announce that PDF files are now supported in ShuttlerockCloud, making it possible to order Print deliverables directly in-platform.

Made for Print

How it works today:

  • Single-page PDF previews: Previews are currently limited to the first page. Multi-page support is coming soon.
  • Full PDF delivery: Downloads include the complete PDF file as uploaded, preserving all specifications.
  • Feedback flow: Leave comments and annotations directly on the preview, keeping the review cycle seamless and consistent with other deliverables.

Coming soon:

  • Multi-page PDF previews directly in ShuttlerockCloud.
  • Continued refinements to the Print workflow for an even smoother briefing and review experience.

What's New in ShuttlerockCloud - August Update

S
Shared by Sara • October 21, 2025

August brought updates and fixes to ShuttlerockCloud, clearing out niggles and smoothing your workflow. See what we've sorted below.

Safezone updates

  1. Pinterest 2:3 safezone refreshed
The 2:3 format has been updated to match Pinterest’s latest specs.
  2. New Premiere Spotlight safezones
We’ve added 1:1 and 16:9 safezones for Pinterest Premiere Spotlight placements.

Project Tracker loading issues fixed

Filtered or searched projects now load properly as you scroll, without hitting an error or showing empty results.

Hyperlink button working again

In brief rich text areas, highlighting text and clicking the hyperlink icon will now open the link input fields as intended.

Numbered list formatting corrected

Numbered lists in rich text areas now continue past single digits without looping back to “0” at number 10.

Theme display updated

ShuttlerockCloud no longer follows your OS dark mode setting by default. Pages now stick to the intended look — light mode for most pages (like home and briefs), and dark mode for delivery and revision pages.

Projects no longer get stuck in ‘Approved’ state

Some projects were getting stuck in Approved after a variation was submitted. That flow’s now fixed - so in those scenarios, projects will move from Approved to In Production like they should.

Heads up: You might still see the “+ Variation” button appear disabled after approving a project. A quick page refresh will fix it for now - we’ll get onto sorting this out soon.

What's New in ShuttlerockCloud - July Update

S
Shared by Sara • October 21, 2025

Brand profile movements

We've relocated the Brand Profile, so now it has it's own spot.

Instead of the little button sitting above the concepts in a brief, you'll now see a brand icon in the left-hand nav - cast your eyes to the bottom corner.

If your brand has a logo added next to the brand name in the Brand Profile, that'll show up. If not, we’ve got a default icon + "Brand'.

Clicking the icon opens the full brand profile in a new tab (so long, in-brief pop-up).

It’s a small shift, but it puts brand info in a better, more discoverable place and can be particularly handy when hopping between projects.

What's New in ShuttlerockCloud - June Update

S
Shared by Sara • October 21, 2025

User Invites - a Little More Organised and Flexible

Just one tidy little update for you in June. On the Users page in ShuttlerockCloud, you’ll now see two simple tabs:

  • Users = anyone who’s accepted their invite
  • Invitations = anyone invited but not yet joined (pending or expired)

This makes it super easy to see who’s already in vs. who’s still in limbo, so you or your teammates can take action: resend invites, copy invite links, or give a gentle nudge to anyone still marked as 'pending'.

We’ve also tossed out the old limitation that stopped you from inviting someone to multiple brands or regions. Now, you can send invites for the same user across as many accounts as needed.
