✅ Launched

New Features

  1. UPS tracking: Tighter integration with UPS carrier tracking to make updates in parcel status real time. Hence, improving our automation flows. Ensure you have provided the required permissions here.
  2. Push tracking events to Klaviyo, Rule.io, via webhook etc: We are sending dropped-off, in-transit and received events for return parcels through our event system. These can be used to trigger email notifications to customers, plan follow ups or create external system automation.
  3. Single refund method per order: Customer will be guided to decide on only one refund method choice between refund or store credit for the whole return request.

Fixes & Enhancements

  1. Tracking number in Ongoing WMS return order: Now warehouses/3PLs can scan parcels faster because we are writing tracking number of return parcels in Ongoing WMS. Note: this feature is being rolled out incrementally over month June.
  2. Improved CTA in return form: On the return form, we have improved the UX and the CTA button is in focus.
  3. More currencies in return checkout options: Now options shown in return checkout can have all major currencies, bringing more clarity in return fee costs per option.
  4. yayloh - return request event will include refund method and in-store return information. You can use this to further segment the flow when a return is in-store and to trigger messages based on if was a refund or store-credits. Others integrating these events for book-keeping can use this data for identifying the return type and refund method clearly.

March 2025: New Claim flow and Fulfillment date based return period

Vineeta avatar
Shared by Vineeta • April 01, 2025

✅ Launched

New Features

  1. Approve to Place a New Order in Case of Claims: When enabled, merchants must approve sending the return label to the customer and approve the creation of a new order in Shopify with a custom prefix. This adds an extra layer of control in managing claims efficiently.
  2. Return Period Based on Fulfillment Date (Shopify only): Currently, yayloh calculates the return validity period based on the order date. With this update, merchants can set the return period based on the fulfillment date. This improvement helps better manage pre-orders and avoid return deadline inconsistencies.
  3. Rule.io Integration for Return Notifications: This integration allows you to segment flows and build more personalized return notifications to improve communication in your return process.

Fixes & Enhancements

  1. Single Return Label Per Request: Previously, customers who registered multiple return requests for the same order received new return labels each time, causing tracking issues. Now, only one return label will be generated per request. If a new label is needed, customers must contact support.
  2. Return Fee ‘0’ for Claims For customers opting for return checkout under a claim, the return fee will now display as ‘0’ to prevent confusion and ensure a smoother return experience.
  3. Budbee Return Tracking: yayloh now supports automated Budbee return tracking via webhook, enabling improved refund automation in regions where Budbee operates.
  4. Refund Rules Based on Number of Returned Items: Retailers offering bundle discounts (e.g., "3 for 2" promotions) can now configure refund deduction rules based on the number of items returned. Fixed deduction fees can be applied as per a structured policy, e.g., 1–2 items: €5, 3–4 items: €10, 5+ items: €12.
  5. Update Existing Return Requests in Shopify Return API – If a customer submits multiple return requests for the same order, Yayloh will update Shopify with the new product item each time.
  6. Analyse financial Impact of Returns by Market: A new dataset has been added to analytics to analyze the financial impact of returns per market.

These features are now live! Feel free to reach out if you'd like to explore them together or discuss how they can benefit your return process. ❤️
